Flashing kGo charger?

So after everyone's great help here, my kGo kit showed up today. I immediately put one battery on the charger to do the initial 8hours charge/20minute vape/1 hour charge routine. I admit I was impatient, and vaped a bit with the second battery while this was happening to try it out.... but now when I attach the second battery to the charger the charger flashes between green and red rather quickly. Is this normal?? When I had originally put the first battery on, the charger stayed green. When I noticed the flashing I immediately removed the battery... figured I'd wait for some advice from the experts here.

Regardless of this issue here I'm extremely happy so far! I got a pack of boge 2.0s and a pack of SmokeTech 1.7 XLs to use with it. One slight problem I had was I put Vanilla Love from AltCig in the 1.7 at first and after about 20 puffs got that awful burnt taste coming out. After speaking to Brent at Hoosierecigsupply.com, I think there is an issue with this combo (or maybe just that carto) and vanilla flavors, as he said he had the same thing happen with his Vanilla Cola. Regardless, I filled up a second 1.7 XL with AltCigs Churro and am extremely happy with it!

Well dug a little deeper into the archives here and found that the flashing is normal. A tad relieved to say the least!

Same thing happened to me. I've read it just means it is partially charged when its allways green, praise the lord!

I had the same concern when I bought my 2nd KGO kit from Brent at Hoosier. The first battery charger I had didn't do that fast blinking. At least not that I ever noticed. When I got the 2nd one and the charger started the fast blinking I thought there was something wrong with it. Called Brent and he assured me that it was normal. It's been charging the batteries OK.

...they do that when the batt is near charged...as too the Vanilla Love, my wife vapes it all day long in the 1.7ohm smoktechs with her Rivas and has had no problems with it burning...keep in mind, these cartos will hold around 2ml of juice, which is near 60drops and need to be kept VERY damp to wet as they run hot..........

sometimes mine done that when the connector was dirty, mine use to blink a few times first the went solid but never blinked while charging

I used a syringe to fill the 1.7 initially with about 1.75ml of juice.... then topped it off by dripping about 10 drops on the mouth end. After 20 puffs the burnt taste came so I immediately dripped about 10 more drops in there. After about 5 or so puffs the burnt taste came back.... haven't touched it since.

As much as I've heard raving reviews on this carto it also seems that a good number of people are having some issues. Hope it's just that one carto as that Vanilla is one of my favorites so far.

I see you like the Konas from Virgin Vapor..... what VG/PG ratio do you use? I got both as samples and felt both were really lacking in flavor. Was wondering if it was because the sample is 100% VG.

Lmao I meant fully charged.. I did a 10 hour shift I'm out of it haha. Fully green is full charge, flashing is partial.

...been using those cartos since we started vaping back in Aug...it is all Wifey uses...she is a fairly light vaper...around 2-3ml/day...I used 'em exclusively until I went VV and still use 'em for under 4v vaping...in all that time, I only had 3 that didn't work right, one wouldn't hold juice and 2 were prone to burning...anything...considering they are cheap, meant to be disposable and come from a place where QC is not known to be the best, I guess I have done OK with them...hang in there and Happy Vaping to ya.....
