I was wondering as the safety fuse has a nipple if it would work to use flat tops in a provari. I accidently ordered some sanyo 18500's on fasttech cause a reviewer said they work very good in a provari. I know aw are the only ones recommended but I've used efests for a very long time without any problem, so I was looking for a battery with a bit more capacity.

I'd think stacking protection circuits would be a bad idea.
It is possible they'd interfere with each others proper function considering they both sense / monitor battery condition to trigger the protection circuitry when / if necessary.

IMO, not worth the risk of damaging something.

Best to get the correct batteries. AW IMR 18490 15c rating.
