Flat top batteries with Reos?

Hello all. I'm just curious....Has anyone had problems with their Reo by using flat top batteries in the long term? I'm just wondering if pressing the firing pin that extra couple mm stresses it out and may cause problems down the road. I do prefer the shorter button throw, but i have too many flat tops that i would like to toss into the rotation (sold most of my other mods after finding the love of a Reo ).

I've been using only flat tops since i got mine. The push distance difference is negligible imo, just don't mash the button down as hard as you can and you should be alright.

I was using 2 aw 18350 and I recently bought some 18650's to try. I had to stretch the spring up to make it fit but both were flatops and worked just fine

with the sub ohm kit comming out in a month or so i wouldnt worry about mucking it up with flat tops. at least thats how i feel about it right now.

Thanks everyone, seems there is no need to worry. Now that my battery supply has pretty much doubled....gonna have to get a couple more Reos to put them in.

I use the panny pd's and ch's and aw 650 1600's and they all worked fine. Got some small sparking every now and then with the pannys but a dab of noalox solved that. For anything above .8 I like the pannys, anything below I use the aw's.

I use the pannys with a shortstop on it, which provides the button top. No problems at all. I have about 20 of these things that I got when I heard they were going to be discontinued.
