Ok, newbie here - are the percentages you give what others like as a part of the over-all mix for a vaping juice? (mixed with personal choice for PG/VG base) and if so, what is the 2nd and/or 3rd % figure? different folks' preferences?

added question - when you add EM, what's the percentage or amount used of that? same as the flavor?

[Sorry, I'm a detail person who rarely assumes things.]
Thanks for the work you went through to put this list together!! It's appreciated!

NancyB

p.s. LOVE the thumbs up picture! (grin)

Hi NanacyB.
The different percentages numbers are recommended by different people.
This is the list for single flavors percentages. I did include some general messages where recommendations are need to be researched. For instance one person recommend to add 10% EM in his tobacco flavors I thought it too much and I need to research it or experiment it.

Thank you for your interest and hope you might find it useful too.

Thanks for the list, but when I see values like 2% and 10-15% for the same juice, the point of posting them becomes moot. There are several flavors with huge discrepancies with respect to their recommended percentages. FA is highly concentrated. When I see people listing 15%, I'm wondering if there is any value to their input. Almost all of these flavors do well at a maximum of 5%.

Yeah, I love this list, but I tend I agree with X about some of those high percentages. I haven't been doing this for long, but so far, FA concentrates are just too loud above (roughly) 5%. Even still, I thank you for the list as it is helpful to see what others think, even if it differs from me.

The old list really does not uphold the low percentage thing very well. The part listing the percentage flavor art suggests has low percentages. But of the 18 user submitted flavors none actually lists a percentage lower than 5. My notes also show another 25 or so flavors and of them about 12 show 5 or less as the percentage. That does not necessarily mean that percentages higher than 5 are necessary. But, the very low percentages does not seem to be supported by the information posted by users previously.

I just ordered some FA. Previously I used MBV concentrate at 10-20 %.
Is the F A so much more concentrate?

Sent from my Z10 using Tapatalk 2

Yes indeed- 10-20% would choke you out, MBV uses Flavor West which is less concentrated.

I am vapeing FA Cuban Supreme right as I type and I mixed this at 2% and it is a full tobacco flavor

Flavour Art is pretty condensed material

...MBV uses Flavor West which is less concentrated.

This confirms my suspicion. I just received some flavorings from ECX, one of which is Flavor West Tobacco Regular, and it smells exactly like MBV's RY4. Yuck! To me, that stuff doesn't smell like tobacco at all. It reminds me of licorice.

So far, I haven't had any luck with Flavor West, period... though several people on here love them but at a pretty high percentage 15% and up... which is insane to me because the highest I use any of my flavors is 10%

I wish the DIY subforum had its own classies.

Is Flavor West very different than FlavourArt? Same strength, just different flavors, or does it taste completely different?
