flavor drops off

when i smoked analogs i noticed that half through the cigarett it had no taste.Even if i was a menthol half way through i did not taste the menthol. I noticed the same thing happens when vaping. Till i switch flavors then i taste it again for a while then that flavor drops off and so on & so on. this happens when i drip. my cartos flavor drop off quick also. Does this happen to anyone else?

Yeah, flavor drops off some. I exhale through my mouth and nose though to give me some extra flavor - it works.

I switch flavors often, 2 or 3 puffs on this one then 2 or 3 puffs on another one and don't have much of a problem with the buds going numb..I do have the same problem if I stay with one flavor too long..

Any time I've been vaping for a while and haven't been drinking water, my mouth goes dry after a while and tastes get really muted. Make sure you've upped your water intake.

In my experience the flavor lessens as the amount of juice in the carto & the charge on the battery are lowered. A switch to charged battery and a carto top-off always solve this problem for me.

The more power a battery sends to the coil the more juice that can be vaporized.
power = watts
More volts = more watts = more hit and vapor.
Lower ohms = more watts = more hit and vapor.

Using more watts will also drain your battery faster.

With the same voltage you will get a lot more hit and smoke with a 2.0 ohm cartomizer than with a 3.0 ohm cartomizer.

Hmm I haven't noticed that effect very noticeably.

The reasons you all give are interesting! Maybe it's just that we notice changes more than constants. Like after being in the dark a while, you become acclamated. Of course I don't know

I think our bodies get used to the artificial flavors. Try this..Get a bottle of flavor, and take a whiff.. Then keep on smelling, and you will find that the smell is gone..

I typically don't notice any drop off in flavor until my carto is like 4 days old... if you just quit smoking, or are still in the process of quitting it could be the effects of diminished senses ie: taste and smell.

More vapor more to taste. More power will also give you a warmer vapor because you are getting more of it and it takes longer to cool. Warmer vapor will taste more intense.

What's your juice mixed at? You might try vaping a juice with a higher percentage of PG. Someone mentioned water, that's important too.
