Flavor Journey

Like most of us vapers who have been at-this for any length of time, I have tried numerous brands and flavors. I was fortunate to have come across Velvet Vapors, back when I started, 19 months ago. VV's liquids are true to their titles, in that the names of their flavors accurately describe what's inside.

And as a die-hard menthol smoker, I'm glad that I managed to almost immediately bump into PureSmoker's Silver Leaf Menthol [Tonic]; definitely got me over my menthol-cig cravings!


Over the following year-plus, I've had a few more "hits," but many more "misses." I won't mention the names of vendors whose liquids I didn't like (alas, there have been several) because they are all reputable and beloved by many here on ECF.

But I do want to give a special shout-out to a few recent three that I've tried:

• Highbrow Vapor: I had high hopes for Highbrow's promises, and for the most part, they came through. I think my taste-buds were still undergoing reconstruction when I tried Highbrow, and I am grateful for the quality and punch they pack!
• Backwoods Brew: Consistently flavorful. I refer to BWB as my "NAGT" - No-Anxiety Go-To If I need liquid, and don't want to start perspiring, just thinking about choosing, I know that whatever I order from BWB will satisfy. (And they have the best 306 dripping-atties, too!)
• NiteLiteVapor: I've only received two of their flavors, so far. But they are the only two I've been reaching for, for over two weeks! I have a stash of other flavors from aforementioned vendors - right here, beside me - but with the NLV's, who needs them? (Yup, I already ordered another three flavors from NLV. They're just my style... at the cellular level, I guess! )

Hope this might help someone else on their journey... Please don't give up! There's great stuff out there, for every palate!

And folks, please chime in with tales of your flavor-journeys, as well! I would love to hear!

P.S. Anyone tried Vermillion? I keep thinking that they might be "right up my alley," as well!

I am still a die hard menthol lover. I do not have a lot of interest in the other flavors...unfortunate for me. The ones that 'made it' for me are backwoods brew, pink spot, and mr eliquid. These I can vape...but still I search. I know I do not like any of the tobacco menthols.....mr eliquid has been my all day vape for a few weeks now. Did you get past that menthol and branch out?

Thanks for your input and question, Tracey! I still like to have a few drops of some sort of menthol around, but I rarely turn to it. In fact, the only time I reach for it, these days, is to "refresh" an atty. (The menthol properties seem to act as some sort of "coil cleanser"?)

I smoked strictly menthol cigarettes for 30 years. Never imagined that I wouldn't want that additive! Now I'm beginning to understand that I chose menthols, in an attempt to mask the nasty taste of cigarettes, in general. And I am thrilled at all the yummy flavors that vaping has to offer! I would like to add a couple of honorable mentions.

One to AlienVision's Gorilla Juice. I tried several of their other offerings; GJ was my fave. I reordered it a few times, but found the consistency to be unreliable.

Also, Halo Tribeca. I reordered that one a couple of times, too, and found it to be consistent in flavor. Tried a bunch of their other juices, but none propelled me to return for more.
