flavor % question

I've not used TFA before and have never used sweet cream and ripe strawberry before. If I were to mix these, what would a good ratio be? I know it sounds like a dumb question and I can always experiment, but the order hasn't come in yet and I'm trying to get a good bead on where to start. Any help is appreciated.

Here's a spreadsheet with single % starting points. My thought is always start lower than the average, then work up if it's not where I like it after steeping. I know that's not the answer you're looking for, but hopefully it'll help for future use.

Having never used the ripe strawberry but based on other strawberry mixes I've made I would start at 5% strawberry and 2% cream and adjust from there.

TFA Sweet cream takes two weeks to show itself whenever i use it, so bear that in mind before you start remixing.

Interesting, I've never left the mixes alone long enough to notice this...

I need to use strawberry ripe at about 15%. I like strong flavors and much lower I just don't taste anything. I also have TFA mango and dragon fruit, and these seem to be very weak flavors for me. No matter how I mix them they are just way too subtle for my taste. I use them as background notes for my mixes. Of course your taste may vary so I would start low and adjust to your liking. For me I need to go to the upper end of most flavors to get it how I like. As stated by others creams take a while to develop so let it sit for a week or two and go from there.

My strawberry and cream recipe:
12 mg 60/30 PG/VG +10% distilled H20
TFA strawberry ripe 12%
Lorans Bavarian cream 5%
EM 1%

I use ripe strawberry at6-8% and sweet cream at 4-6%... Never had an issue with too little flavor.

I look at it like this: the cream will be your base so there will be more of it, let's say 10% and you're adding strawberry (ripe) for flavor at 5%. That will be a total of 15% flavoring. If this seems too strong you can change the percentages a bit.

Yeah you could do it that way. You're right there is no wrong way as long as you get something you like out of it .

I've been making a really nice peaches & cream. 4% TFA Juicy Peach / 6% TFA Sweet Cream. I add 5% distilled water. Try it with 4% strawberry and see how it goes.
