flavor question

I buy carts at a very low nic level (4mg) and have been getting the low juice to refill (guess that is 8mg) but it tastes funny (burnt/chemicalish)

I smelled one of my refill juices and almost gagged.
wtf?

Am thinking about going with 0mg to see if that helps...
any ideas?

it might be the juice you are using and not the nic content. have you tried using another brand of juice to see if this is still the case?

I've never had a burnt/chemical tasting juice, perhaps you are not filling the cartomizer enough and burning the insides? What is your filling method?

so far I have just been using juice from V4L
Haven't done much searching for other juice yet.
and I'm using your method Taryn
so I know I am not letting it dry out...
Maybe my taste buds are wack.

I have always shaken my juices before filling. I was told to do that by one of the long time vets here and I have never had a problem..give that a try!
Also some people say the liquids (from every vendor) have an odd smell..leave the top off for a short while after you shake it up.
