I am wondering if anyone could give some recommendations for flavors. I just had a few flavors arrive today and while I do find the candy type flavors tasty, I don't think I can take more than a few hits from them.

I am thinking something with a warm spicy flavor would be nice. Something mild - meaning not overly rich. Has anyone tried a Jamaican Rum flavor? Would that kinda fit what I am looking for?

I can give you my noob opinion.

#1. Tobacco flavors so far have been nice, but definitely doesn't remind me of tobacco (of course after vaping I think these flavors are better than real tobacco). These flavors can be sweet though (my USA mix tastes something like Cola to me...), I think you'd have to try some of these, maybe look at reviews to find out which are spicy/sweet.

#2. I haven't tried much candy, but the fruit flavors I HAVE tried (just a couple) seemed to be not overpoweringly fruity, so I would look into the fruit ones. I would stay away from the "fruit cake" mixes if you don't like sweet, and maybe look to see if they have "hooka" fruit flavors (a site I ordered from had it, more may as well) these have more of a "hint" of fruit.

I can throw out I read the Halo tobacco flavors are rated high, I have not tried it though and they don't have small bottles so I probably won't for a while, but just thought I'd mention it since you asked about tobacco flavoring.

And then, you can do what I do, read the juice reviews and try and figure out how any of these veterans decide on one of these billions of juices!

Another point. Make sure to read, I only spent a little over $10 on an order of juice, but I later found out it was Dekang (sp?). This type supposedly has a very bad reputation, although I guess I'll decide for myself.

May want to try some of that, but you may also want to shell out for a better juice and see if your problem isn't just that you don't like the brand you tried. (So maybe go check to see if your juice is Dekang, I personally don't mind the ones I have for now, but I'm excited to try the "better" juices)

I just buy lots of little bottles of juice to try out. Then invest in the ones you like.

This can be hard, for example I want to try the widely spoken about Halo brand but it is very hard to find them in small bottles.

Still, you really don't want a 30ml bottle you don't like because chances are it won't go anywhere unless you have vaping friends, I am too getting a bunch of little bottles to try out.

I'm with the OP in that it really is hard to pick flavors. I went for small bottles but then I had the problem of....small bottles of fruit, candy, cake, coffee WHICH?? Haha, at least if you crossed out candy flavors you're further than I am!

Try the vaporbomb flavors. Order 5ml samples and go from there. Here is a link to my opinion on certain flavors:

That is who I ordered from :) I got kona coffee - amazing! Kahlua - growing on me. Blueberry is a little to candy like for my tastes, but it is ok. The cinnabomb is very very tasty but something I would probably only take a few hits from now and than. The chocolate mint is interesting...I can't taste the mint at all and it kinda tastes more coffee like to me.

Thanks for the link! I will have to ask for the 555 next time. I have read that a lot of people like that flavor but did not see that on their website.

You already got some. What I would recommend is maybe look into the trading services they have here? All sorts of pass-it-along and trading, so that you could trade away the flavors you don't like. This is if you got a bigger than a sampler bottle.

Since someone actually recommended the Dekang, I have heard good reviews on that flavor just never tried it, but I would look at strictlyejuice they have mixed reviews but they are very cheap for the small bottles. I got a whole bunch of small bottles, didn't even have to get a sampler pack, I believe they were under $3/piece with free shipping.

Try the Pay It Forward thread. I have been able to sample a lot of juices that I would never have otherwise. You see what someone has offered, and if you want it, you claim it as yours and put up some of your juices and Pay It Forward. You have to join the group to be able to post there. It's a lot of fun and addictive!

All of the juice I have bought so far has been the 5ml size. Between the hubby and I we have 10 of those little bottles. I guess I am just afraid to spend a lot of money. For reference, I was rolling my own cigarettes so my smoking habit was not that expensive. Somewhere around $30 for 2-3 weeks.

Between the juice and gadgets this could really start to add up! I will have to check out some of those trading threads. Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

vikingvapor and vaporbomb have smaller bottles to try at good prices. both vendors ship fast and they have options on VG/PG ratios and nicotine levels.

if you want good warmer flavor i highly recommend tasty vapor's Almond Horn! they only sell 1oz bottles (approx. 30ml) but their flavors can't be beat and at $.50 per ml, it's totally worth it. you could possibly find samples in the Pay It Forward thread if you really want to try some before you buy. if you find a juice you like, you can order it in a higher nicotine level and buy their 4oz doubles to stretch your juice (and money) even further.

I hear that!!
I didn't roll, but I didn't smoke more than a pack usually, I spent around the same each week. Problem is, I spent about 3-4 weeks worth already, so I have a while before I break even

As someone else has suggested I would try the "pay it forward" thread or the classifieds on the forum. You can try to swap out some of the ones you don't really like, & try something new for only the cost of shipping to someone. That being said it's all a learning curve as to what we like and don't like, heck I'm still searching for that perfect one! lol Anyway good luck to both of you, this is definately the right place to get advice and opinions.
