I'm aware of the menthol issue (don't vape it myself but it does seem to be a valid concern) DIY (with a single flavor) is so easy and saves you money. My favorite mint (and only one I've tried) is (PUR) Butter Mint... unfortunately it's only available form River Supply (CA) and they are closed. All mints may (or may not) have oils. My best advice is make your own and mix it weak (better than no menthol) and you should be fine.

FYI:

I'm not sure whether or not this is useful . . . I was looking for the perfect "True Menthol" for years - I smoked Kool Cigarettes for 50 years . . . No Menthol E-Liquids worked - well those that people called menthol, since they were either a mint or candy taste . . . So - I was using many different combinations of Black Licorice / Absinthe with a touch of "Menthol Crystal Liquid" that help me along the way as a dual user . . . It wasn't until a year ago that @Bea-FL shared her recipe (Posted below with her permission) that finally satisfied "My" taste buds for that "True Menthol" I was looking for . . .

"@Bea-FL Menthol Recipe"

For 100 mls of juice at 50/50 PG/VG you mix 44PG, 50VG, 2ml Liquid Menthol, 7ml Koolada.

Personally, I use 24 mg NIC Unflavored premixed and then add the same amount of Menthol & Koolada . . . Of course, "You" can change the base to meet your NEEDS . . .

I hope this information is useful & helpful . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)

I have been vaping menthol flavor for years. After reading about concerns of vaping menthol, I need a strong max VG flavor that I’ll be able to taste. Any recommendations?
Hi neighbor (Middleburg). I haven’t heard about any concerns with menthol. Please explain.

BTW I only use 2ml menthol in my recipe which makes for a very mild menthol flavor. When I first started vaping Five years ago I bought a ready made juice called Arctic Ice but that was getting pretty expensive so I experimented and came up with this recipe. And as @Uncle said this is a true menthol flavor…not mint.

If you plan to try it I would suggest making a 10ml test batch. Also you might start with half the koolada because it’s pretty potent. Koolada is a flavorless additive that gives you that cold sensation you used to get from menthol cigs.
