UT - I mix all my FW flavors at 12.5% in 70/30 and 18% in 40/60 FWIW

I tried Mr. GIR's suggestion of 15% in 50/50 and liked it better when I kicked it to 16% 50/50

Thanks for the replies. I use 80/20 and have been mixing my PB at 12.5%. I'm going to up it to 15% and see if I can get some flavor. The MBV bottle I got on the first order must have been a "fluke" I wish I could get some more just like it.

I just tried Capella Peanut Butter at 5,10, and 15% and all I taste is varying strengths of burnt popcorn.

Got ectocooler, creamberry (excited), and Graham cracker today..ecro is very yummy so far..but seems similar in Snell and color as orange creamsicle

All my DIY mixes are 50:50 PG/VG. You can go any nic level to your liking.

I've mixed ecto at 15% and was very happy with it. Creamberry sounds interesting, whats the flavor profile?

It is oddly reminiscent of coconut...its like a strawberry coconut cream...but not really coconut....its interesting....my wife likes it. Mixed at 15%
It is very creamy and I can taste the berry..but there is coconut there..even if it is just the same "chemical" that is part of coconut being used for the cream or what...It is there
All my DIY mixes are 50:50 PG/VG. You can go any nic level to your liking.

So Graham cracker tastes just like cinnamon roll flavor...and ecto tastes similar to something I have already....

I vape mostly fruit flavors and recently got interested in something I have overlooked before - Dragon Fruit. Because I use a lot of tropical fruit flavors I decided to give it a try.
Folks talk ECBlends Dragon line a lot and how TFA was a good DF, but mention of FW DF came up so I got some of both.

Wow I really like the smell of DF (both TFA and FW)... I mixed up some 5% of each and they were quite good (sorry this a duo review).
There's a little zing to it and I can see why folks like it, but I prefer a more rounded flavor ( I usually add a good Cream to my fruits), even with cream.
I put it aside for awhile but it raised my respect for FW (TFA too as I don't typically get my flavors from them anymore).

FW Dragon Fruit 5% 4/5 4mg nic, 80VG/20PG

FW Lychee 5% 4/5 too... I was surprised because imo its hard to find a good Lychee.
I have to work more with this one because Lychee is my favorite ADV.
Not as tart as TFA's which can be nasty over 6% imo. and at 3% its a little too tart imo.

Wow, those percentages are super low....you sharing fw or tfa percentages?

All my DIY mixes are 50:50 PG/VG. You can go any nic level to your liking.

Yep... 5% worked good... for both. I was surprised to see many like TFA dragon fruit at 10%, but I always start at around 3-4% first with any flavor (after checking for suggested %).

Jason (FW's owner) says all their flavors are designed to work at 15%
Good to know, but still how many would start off with 15% without knowing?
I was going off the first page in this thread folks talking about %. It started out with some using 25%, and then some comments how 10% was too much so best to start low.
I'm not super taste sensitive, and imo 5% was pretty spot on.
I'll have to give it a boost just to see what i'm missing

I threw in the VG/PG% nad nic% just per the way it was setting up on first page.
I no longer use PG. VG has gotten a bad rap. Folks were thinking it didn't carry flavor well, but that was just because of the thickness; if you let it steep more, or add 10% distilled water i.e. there's no problem and it actually has less inherent taste than PG.

15% is a very good place to start but I tend to use most FW flavors at about 20%, depending on the flavor. Obviously it is a matter of personal taste and it's easier to add more flavoring if you start too low. I use 25mg nic base with 50% PG / 50% VG. The finished juice is 18-20mg nic at 60% PG / 40% VG depending on the amount of flavoring added. I use the very easy calculator at e-Liquid Calculator and keep my recipes relatively simple.

Flavor West Root Beer Float at 20% is fantastic! It is one of my favorites. Fuzzy Navel and Lemonade are also both really good at about 20% or slightly less. The Butterscotch is good but it is very strong. Still working on the proportions on that one but sweetener is a good addition to tone down the bite. I was disappointed with the Kiwi flavor and will try TFA.

That makes me sad about kiwi...wanna sell me it? ;-)

I used to rely on calculators, which are very precise, but if you get 100mg nic base the math is easy for 10ml bottles :)
