Does anyone know if using a flavoring with Organic Gum Acacia is ok? I just got a new flavor that contains - Ingredients: Water, Organic Gum Acacia, Organic Flavors. I thought this would be great, but just found that the flavoring is cloudy, not the clear I was expecting. They say their organic flavor concentrates are made to withstand high temperatures for a long duration. They're perfect in most baking applications! The flavor is pasturized, so needs to be refrigerated after opening, if this makes any difference. This was from Nature's Flavors.

Is Acacia Gum ok in DIY liquids? From what I can gather, it is in all kinds of foods and pharmeceuticals, so I am thinking yes it is ok? Anyone use a flavor that contains acacia gum? The total amount of flavoring used in the mix should be around .5-1.0%, so I am guessing that very little of the gum acacia would be in the liquid anyway? Any thoughts?
