Flavorings VS Extracts Question

I have been scouring the internet for a while and have not found a definitive answer for what I'm looking for.. I was hoping to have you guys help me.

I was looking over some company's to get flavors from and I saw extracts. I was trying to find the pros and cons and find out what would be better to be using in juice.

So.. What is better to be using. Extracts or Flavorings? And why? Whats more cost effective? What gives a better taste?

Well it would be interesting to know the site, but basically if you go by the definition of each , that an "extract" would mean that it was extracted from the fruit etc thru distillation or a similar process.

Flavourings are either natural/ artificial or both, concentrated to flavour things such as foods or liquids or ejuice etc.

I would think that an extract is probably not going to be as strong and you would need much more for use in things such as DIY ejuice.

In cooking, an extract referes to the extraction of natural flavor from its natural source; a vanilla extract is generally made by percolating vanilla beans in a solution of ethyl alcohol and water. This extracts the vanillin, what we tastes as vanilla. By contrast, a vanilla flavor is artificially made to taste like vanilla, but did not come from a real vanilla bean.
