If it wasen't for the flavoring i'd probably still be smoking tbh I love my watermelon/strawberry or berries of any kind too much to sacrifie them 0.0
VG has a slightly sweet flavor. I usually only use it when I'm vape fatigued and all my eliquid tastes the same. I also like blowing the huge VG clouds out of boredom. It just always struck me as odd that some people like "nude" eliquid, until I had tried it. I'm definitely a flavor junkie though. Butterscotches and sweet/smooth Vanilla Custards being my ADV's.

I first thought that it wouldn't be worth the time without flavorings in liquids. Learned the significant other is allergic to fragrances of any sort in high concentrations, so in our life style changes from soaps and the likes, had to try unflavored liquid to continue vaping in the house. 70% of the day I am vaping unflavored, though depending on the time of year, warmer months I use a 30pg/70vg, where during colder months I use a 70pg/30vg, spring and autumn I use a 50/50. I've been using unflavored in my Kayfun style tanks now for almost 3 of my going on 5yrs vaping, only vape flavored liquids after dinner outside on the porch or when I'm out and about, out and about I still carry a smaller mod /w a Kayfun with unflavored as a backup.

And yes, for those times you can't avoid vape tongue, unflavored is a life saver.

May I ask why you alter your PG/VG ratios depending on the seasons?
Is it because of humidity?
Thanks :)

I live in the Arizona desert, so it is heat related issue. Heat affects the viscosity if e-liquid, cooler climate the liquid becomes thicker, warmer climate liquid becomes thinner. I vape on mostly tanks, especially older Kayfuns and Russian 91% tanks, anything over a 30pg/70vg viscosity can cause a wicking issue without modifications to the juice channels in these RTA's. On the opposite end during very warm months the heat thins out even 100vg liquids, that and builds up pressure in the tank due to the air and liquid expansion which can all of that together cause flooding issues, so I adjust using the simplest of changes the thickness of the liquids.

I sometimes like to mix up 3mg 100% vg with no flavoring. I always thought it wouldn't be enjoyable.... I found out it was the opposite (for me). Definitely helped when I get vape tounge/fatigue. How many others are out there?

Unflavored and HOF (Hint of Flavor) is all I used.

I find it to be More Refreshing. And I don't get Flavor Burnout like I used to. My Coils also last Longer.

I'm the same. I DIY with about 1/2 the flavor percentage, or less, than many others use in their recipes. I rarely go beyond 10% total. IMO, just about all commercial juices have too much flavoring.

I actually DIY Exactly the same as I always did. Same Recipes - Same Strength.

The Difference is I just use the Flavored DIY to Prime a New Wick. Then fill my Tank with Unflavored. Or in the case of my BF RDA's, prime the Cotton with Flavored and use Unflavored in the Squonk Bottle.

It Kinda Blows my mind How Much and How Long the flavor last from just a Flavored Wick.

I've vaped it. It's okay. It wouldn't be my preferred vape but it's not awful at all. I too use flavorings pretty lightly and don't really prefer the (sometimes cloying) taste of commercial eliquid now. But, I taste things again. It took awhile to adjust to "lighter" flavorings but I really prefer them.

Nude VG and a tiny squirt of unflavored WTA can give a *hint* of tobacco that's pretty nice and doesn't taste like the "fake" tobacco. But that's a pricy way to flavor your juice (IMO). I tried it out (again, experimenting) just because I was curious....

I vape nude base juice but only beacuse i am an idiot and totally unable to diy anything heh :)

That's pretty much how I ended up trying it. I made 5 -10 bottles that we're horrible.... I said screw it and tried it nude and was very pleased. Hopefully I can get the money together and another up my diy stuff and steep them for long enough where the flavor mellows out.

I have yet to find a tobacco eliquid I've liked.

I have made about 92% VG with flavoring and the only 100% or as close it actually is to 100% VG was when I vaped my 48MG Nicotine straight just to do a human trial with it. Was a head rush to be honest but I only make flavorless for my GF because she happens to like it but at 70/30 VG/PG.
