Does the level of Nic affect the taste of the cartos?

Let me state Ive only tried four flavors so far...

Mboro in 24 and 36
French Pipe in 24 and 36
Bluberry in 24
Caramel in 24

I figured that 24 would be a good starting point for my former smoking level. But some of these seem very harsh. The only real anomaly was the French Pipe. Both nic levels tasted the same, very smooth and enjoyable, and with its mild sweetness Ide thought Ide love the sweeter flavors.

Well Blueberry is slowly growing on me although I think it has a mild smokey flavor to it. I know this isnt a atomizer issue as I tasted it on the first pull. However the Caramel seems really harsh, very strong throat hit.

Is this normal? Or is the Nic level a factor? Or is it just my 20+ years of abuse tastebuds? Ive noticed alot of folks here vaping at several different nic levels so Ive been a bit confused on this.

Does the amount of nic change the taste of a cart flavor?

Most say that the higher the nic, the less the flavor.

That said, I use 16-24 mg carts exclusively, so I can't say if the lower ones are more flavorful. What I CAN say is that my 18s are better than my 36s...but like you, my tastebuds were a wreck...so it could just be the non-smoking.

Epheon, I've been trying all kinds of mgs the past few days and I can say without a doubt, the higher the mg the harsher it is to me and less flavorful, especially when vaped through the x long battery and the passthrough.

The French Pipe was very smooth even in 36mg for me, too.

I smoked filtered cigars, so I thought that the high 24-36mg nicotine would be for me. I was wrong, it was way too harsh! I feel that 8mg juice is the closest to a cigarette I have gotten.

For me the 16mg is my soft spot during the day. Just the right amount of throat hit, taste, and vapor. At night, the 8mg is perfect. Lots of flavor and vapor, but little to no throat hit.

They seem to me to be harsher, more throat hit at the higher nic levels Just have to find your niche
