So I purchased a variety of different liquids from several vendors over the past 6 weeks and my favorite few liquids don't seem to be as intense as when I first tasted them. Is this common? I have heard of flavors getting better as they age but not really losing flavor. A few of the fruity flavors are not appealing any more as the nic base flavor now seems to be taking over. Could it be a taste bud problem? I have had a bad case of vapers tongue from time to time and I seem to dehydrate myself quite often. I drink a lot of coffee.

Just like tobacco, they can get weaker with enough time. I used to let my cigars rest for up words of a year, and I found that they would reach a peak after a certain amount of time but then the flavor strength would start to diminish. Iv found the same thing can and does happen to e-juices. I`m sure the cut off point would depend on the individual juice but Iv seen a drop off in flavor from juices that are approaching a year of steeping as opposed to juices that have only been steeped for a month or two.

Is this flavor loss possible only 4-6 weeks of age?

Me?

Should`nt be, Iv found that one or two months is the sweet spot for me. Iv only experienced it after about 10 months of steeping. I`m basing this on some pre-steeped juice I got from a vendor that had steeped for 10 months before I got it, and it was noticeably weaker then the freshly made that I got shortly there after.

Its not liqua is it?
I just made a post about liqua selling weak juice.

Absolutely. It doesn't happen with all juices but some do fade quickly. Temperature makes it happen faster. I like hype but it ages fast. I keep it in the freezer. If a bottle sits at room temp for maybe a month it looses color and flavor and it is gone.
