tobacco flavors (including black cherry tobaccos) work great with any beer for me, especially since that's when I miss a real cigarette the most.

All beers activate the bitter taste buds on the sides of your tongue, so a lot of fruity flavors have a tendency to interfere.

Sweet juices work best with stouts and cream ales.

Red beers are great with watermelon and strawberry juices (and cheese!).

Weirdly, menthol does not seem to interfere at all with lighter blonde beers (pilseners, ales, etc.). For me it doesn't anyways...

That's about the extent of my observations.

I don't drink beer very often but when I do I prefer a citrus flavor. Lime, Lemon, Oranges. They all seem to go pretty well with Rolling Rock which is about the only beer I can tolerate. I normally drink mixed drinks, White Russians, Screwdrivers etc. What flavor I choose would be based off whether I'm drinking sweet drinks or fruity ones. Desert flavors and custards with sweet drinks. Mixed fruit flavors with fruity drinks.

I have a DIY Bourbon Tobacco that goes great with my Shiner Bock

10mL batch
FA Royal - 20 drops, about .75 mL
FA 7Leaves - 20 drops, about .75mL
TFA Bourbon - 5 drops
Add Nic juice and top with straight VG
It's a high VG recipe, but you could thin it with PG if you like. It needs to steep for at least 2 days or it is just almost unvapeable, better after a week. Nice mild, round tobacco with a piney, sweet kick from the bourbon. It was actually my ADV for a while.

I like a nice honeydoo or raspberry with spotted cow beer
Custard/dessert flavors with a Pabst

Apple/applecrumble with any soft cider (reds or ciderboys)

cinnamon apple with hard cider (not sure of any brands mostly have a homade recipe i drink during fall times)

If its a stout i like anything nutty/coffee flavored.

RY4 with pilsners or lagers.
Straight tobaccos with lighter ales.
Citrus flavors with IPAs
Blueberry or raspberry with Hefeweizens.
Custard with stouts.

Not really sure what goes with porters and dark ales yet.
Which is weird, because those are my favorite beers.

Can't say what goes with Belgian Ales or lambics.
Can't stand them, don't drink them.
