I have not used any of the Flash-type stuff, as I don't much care for simulated TH. I've not heard of anything that gives the true nicotine there-and-gone TH other than nicotine.

I do know that for me, any PGA-based flavoring causes me persistent throat irritation, even with just a few drops per 10ml. I can get away with 1-2 drops per 10ml without the sore throat, though. I guess that I'm much more sensitive than most to this.

One thing that I do occasionally use is a VG-based pure ground cinnamon extract that I made, sweetened with sucralose. A small amount of that gives a bit of flavor and kick. Too much, and it leaves me feeling scratchy/chalky in the back of my throat.

The flash, can also be found in the Hangsen liquid range does increase throat hit. I have a bottle at home
But it's more throat irritation for me then a real throathit. It gets close, but too much will kill the liquid

If you want to have 0mg but still a good throathit, this or the hangsen one will greatly help

nice. thanks for the input guys. i had been avoiding capcasum, PGA and other throat irritants because in the back of my head, i kinda just *knew* theyd be an unsatisfying "TH". i guess i just gotta face the facts and up my nic% from time to time when i need it. ive been trying not to increase my nic% becasue i feel like it might be that "chasing the dragon" effect where its good for a while, then all of a sudden you need higher nic% over and over again. im at 18 now and 24mg nic hits n hard. but if i go to 24 exclusively, pretty soon im gonna be up the creek. but maybe im wrong. maybe 24 will just continue to be what i need and wont become unsatisfying over time.

What equipment are you using these days?

When I started using the IO6 and .357 atties my nic dropped. Then I started using SS mesh RBAs and it dropped again. Possibly imagination, but I believe there is something to nicotine delivery being different among atomizers all else being equal.

Today I used a carto for the first time in a while and it was not delivering the same hit at all

very interesting Cyrus. ive been eyeing that HH357 for some time now, maybe its time for me to upgrade.

what im primarily using now are 1.7ohm XL resurrectors. i do have some shorty resurrectors which hit a bit harder than the XLs which is nice. but theyre tiny and need to be refilled constantly.

i also use a joye atty and a vision dual coil atty. i like the attys, but inconsistant hits are a problem for me. some days i'll be great, other days i cant get a good hit to save my life. and constantly dripping is a major PITA.

i'd love to get into the rebuildable attys, but i like to switch flavors throughout the day. at my rate, id need 5 of them :(

i think i might like the new vivi nova tank. im just waiting for them to be in stock.

maybe i should give this i06 a shot. looks affordable enough. thanks for your help.

The io6 is pretty much on par with the .357, there are differences, some say the .357 is slightly 'better' but for me its just different, i reach for either/or depending on my mood

i hear you about the flavors. I went unflavored for a long time and now unflavored or unflavored + menthol drops is my go to 90% of the time, the flavor switching was becoming a real burden lol

Flash is about the only way I'm going to be able to use up low/no nicotine VG juice!

Hard to describe it's effect (affect?). I think I like it better than higher nicotine bcs I don't get the 'scratchy' dry throat from it. 1 or 2 drops depending on the nicotine level ... in a 1.8 ml Clearomizer is plenty.

The plus would be those times right after spicy food!
I thought it was cheap enough to try considering it will last a long time at 4-5 drops (max) a day. :2c:

You could also try the pepper, there is a thread somewhere about using pepper extract

Anyway if you want a bigger throathit, like I said before. It will help, but it's not 100% the same to me. And too much will give more throat irritation then the actual hit. Another thing could be, you could also try variable volt device and crank it ut a bit to give it a warmer vape. Add a drop of menthol to it, will in general also increase the throat hit

thanks for your input. i do indeed have a VV device. turning up the voltage helps, but it doesnt put me where id like to be a lot of times. i find that cranking up the volts tends to burn the carto filler (burns the juice if im using an atty).
