This review will be covering - Blueberry, Cranberry Champagne, Red Cola, Orange Cream, Peach Green Tea, Green Apple and Chocolate Hazelnut (All at 12MG, 6ML Samplers)

Hi all,

A few weeks ago, I decided to purchase a sampler pack from the a local Canadian vendor by the name of FlavourCrafters.

I really enjoyed my experience dealing with FlavourCrafters, however this review will remain subjective and honest. I don't need to be anyone's friend and I can pay for my own supplies.

I've steeped these juices for a good whiles and have vaped through a most of them, so I'd like to give a review, considering a few juices I ordered are much lesser known and have yet to see a formal review.

These juices were vaped via a Prodigy V3.1, using a 3.5Ohm Ikenvape Atomizer at 6 Volts.

Customer Service:
Package was shipped to me in a bubble wrapped envelope containing my selected juices, two extra samples (Chocolate Hazelnut and Blueberry), business cards, as well as an invoice which had a hand written note responding to my comment left for them at check out. Needless to say, having a little generosity and human interaction behind a vendor is a really great practice in our tight knit vaping community, and was a delightful surprise.

Shipping: Ordered late at night, they shipped the next morning. Canada Post Xpress Shipping Cost me $9.99 and arrived in my mailbox in one business day (Vendor and I are about 2 Hours Apart)

Precursor juice Overview: As to not repeat myself in each review, I wanted to make a few things clear which I encountered with all of my FC juices.

FC liquids are very clean tasting. Where some vendors will sell love it or hate it style juices, I feel that FC plays it safe with their selection. If I did not like a juice, it wasn't because it tasted awful, it was because I just wasn't very interested in their rendition of a specific flavour. After trying some other FC stuff at a vape meetup, I feel that FC juices at their very worst are "meh" as apposed to some other juice vendors that have had me exclaim "burn it with fire."

Vapor on FC juices is great, however I found that the throat hit left something to be desired. I know I am at 12MG but it's still a level where other vendors have made it kick.

As we all know, all vendors have a distinct taste that applies to a majority of their juices. I found that the weaker tasting FC juices tend to have an ever so tiny soapy taste on exhale. To me, this aftertaste is not even remotely close to a deal breaker, however I want to make note that this does exist.

Blueberry (12MG)
- This one vaped nicely straight out of the package. A candy style blueberry flavour that is not overly sweet. A sharper tasting flavour with a nice kick. Throat hit on this particular juice stood out from the others. This actually came to be my favorite of bunch. If you're interested in a nicely balanced blueberry candy, don't hestitate with this.

Peach Green Tea (12MG) - The tea in this juice tastes like a hybrid between a green tea and breakfast tea. The peach is very vague and acts as more of an accent to the tea rather than a major player. Not a fan, but it's not a bad tasting flavor at all. There have been other reviews which are positive, however it is not a juice for me personally.

Green Apple (12MG) - A sweet enigma fresh out of the package. After steeping for two weeks, it came alive, but only revealed the vague taste of a tart, jolly rancher flavour. Despite the weak flavour, it stands out in it's own regard as an easy going, light tasting flavour which has its place and none the less was a pleasurable vape for me.

Red Cola (12MG) - If you're looking for a gummy style Cola, this a great choice. There is also caffeine in this juice, which attributes to a noticeable tingling sensation on your tongue. A fun flavour that really is accurate to a cola gummy flavour.

Cranberry Champagne (12MG) - A tart, cranberry flavour that includes a taste reminiscent of a white wine/champagne. It's not totally accurate, and is a bit peculiar, but I can't help but like it. I'm not sure if this is for everyone, but I recommend giving it a shot. I know there are users(FunkyVapes) who are in love with it.

Orange Cream (12MG) - Simply put, it's an orange creamsicle in juice form. In it's other forms, such as soda and popsicles, I love this flavour, however it did not translate the same way for me in a vapor format. If you think you'd like this, it is definitely an accurate rendition of an Orange Cream flavour.

Chocolate Hazelnut (12MG) - The strongest flavour of the bunch. FC nails it with this one. A great juice with a milk-chocolate inhale and a nice nutty exhale. I am not a chocolate lover, but I can easily say that you won't be let down by this one. Pre-steep it will be much more nutty, but it will soon meld evenly with the chocolate flavour.

In closing,

I thoroughly enjoyed my interactions with FC and will be ordering some choice juices again. I hope this thread can stand as a resource for juice shoppers looking for a little more insight into the lesser known FC juices.

FC is a Canadian vendor based outside of Toronto. They come recommended from me if you want some good, play it safe juice and want to support a Canadian supplier.

Cheers,

Grey

PS: Is this okay to stay in Canada or should I repost in Juice Reviews?

I def noticed the tin taste as well, but I found that it started to go away the longer it steeped. Strong initially though.

Thanks for the review. Of the fruits I ordered, I liked the Raspberry the best. Have some Strawberry on it's way. Other than that I'm more a fan of some of the tobacco flavours (Maple Cured Tobacco, Sweet Honey Cigar, BlackCherry Tobacco). Need to try the Peach Tobacco sometime soon...

Just noticed this thread. Always late for the party. Terrific job Grey, I've not tried most on your list but agree totally with your opinion of Cranberry Champaign. I've noticed that with FC juices there is an extremely pronounced loss of TH at 12mg vs. say 18 or 24. I've actually mixed a few to get roughly 15 and that seems to be the sweet spot for me, with certain flavours certainly hitting harder than others at this level. 24 hits like a freight train on almost every flavour I've tried.

The only really soapy taste I've experienced to date is with Full Flavoured Tobacco. I could not stomach that juice and is the one, for me, that was even worse than 'meh.'

Favorites for me so far include the Coconut Rumball (a must try), Sweet Honey Cigar (which also makes a great 'sweetener' mix for other grassier offerings like Havana), Mac Maurier (also a great tobacco base for mixing-great vapour too) and Maple tobacco. I have a bunch from my last order still steeping and looking forward to tasting. Oh...just had Groovy Grape tonight and found it interesting as my milder 6mg vape. Tastes similar to a grape sweet tart and worth trying if that's your thing.

I find their flavours mix very well overall and one can concoct some surprisingly tasty combinations. My absolute favorite right now is FC's coconut rumball cut with Backwoods Brew Espresso. Incredible! I'll bring you a sample of that one at our next vape meet.

I'll definitely be ordering the Choc. hazlenut and Blueberry on my next order thanks to your endorsement. I, too, have enjoyed first class service and response times from FC thus far.

Hey for those that have the Mac Maurier and Maple Cured Tobacco, does the Mac Maurier tobacco flavour resemble the tobacco base of Maple Cured Tobacco? I like the deep rich tobacco base of the Maple and looking for the same without the sweet to mix with other flavours. Tanks!

I find the Mac Maurier has a very 'neutral' flavour that is excellent for mixing. Can't really compare it to the Maple cured as I have a hard time discerning with that one where the tobacco base flavour ends and where the maple begins.

As I mentioned above, the FC juices seem particularly sensitive to nic content change. I ordered the 12mg this time for the Mac and it doesn't have enough TH for me. 24 was too much so it's likely I'll get 18mg next time. I've mixed some 24mg Maple tobacco with the 12mg Mac and that's been working great for me both for taste and TH.
