Hey everyone! So, I received my Joye 510 yesterday and thus far, loving it! I had one analog right before bed last night and it tasted horrible (the Menthol juice I'd been enjoying all day made my Marlboro Smooth analog taste like burnt hot dog).
So, I'm looking to expand my starter kit a bit here and adventure into some other flavors as well.
My current stock of supplies:
1 Automatic Battery
1 Manual Battery
2 Atomizers
9 Menthol High Carts
20mL ECOpure Menthol High
Polyfill (endless supply thanks to pillow/toy destroying dog)
My intent is to just burn through the Menthol Carts, which I am about to attempt to Straw Mod one, and refill as necessary with the Menthol High. I anticipate this will be my "daily smoker." As the filler gets beyond wear (I've heard 10 top-offs, so I estimate 3 days per cart) I'd like to refill the carts with Polyfill and continue on.
So, my shopping list as of now is (not getting too crazy yet):
3 Atomizers (for backup and flavor swapping)
2 5mL Testers of other e-liquids
I'd like to purchase 3 more manual batteries (I hate the automatic) but can't really personally justify the $35 expense for that just yet.
I figure I can use the 2 empty cartridges that came with my Joye 510 kit, fill with Polyfill, and enjoy something other than Menthol.
So, any experienced vapers out there want to critique my plan or offer suggestions on e-Liquids? I don't think I should go to crazy (no Roasted Chicken) yet, but I am definitely curious as to what is available.
Finally, a question: this may be normal but I am finding that after 5-6 drags the top of my filler is pretty dry. At first, I was putting 3-4 drips in to wet it back down (plus 2 on the bridge) but found that hitting the bridge was creating a really harsh throat hit. Just dampening the filler has been working well for me. Now, I presume this is because I have really been dragging on the thing - I always took really deep pulls on an analog and trying to get that fulfillment/taste on the 510 requires a longer pull. I've actually had to physically count out the 5 seconds so I know when to kill the button - I imagine this may be causing the quick dryout of the filler.
Guess I'm just looking for reassurances.
