Hi all.

I hope one can help me, i am quite new to all the vaping stuff so go easy on me.

So i just found out when i flood the coil/wick it gives me a better taste.
To flood the coil/wick i just take a few pulls without firing.

But the million dollar question is. How can i get a flooded coil/wick without doing this on purpose? Maybe i will have to modify my tank to increase my liquid flow? or has this all to do with pressure inside the tank?

This is i think not suitable for every tank because of liquid getting in the airflow channel(s).
Havent tested it thoroughly yet.

Thanks in advance!

Edit: Maybe i did not use the word ''flooded'' correct maybe it's better to say ''over saturated''....

It sounds like your juice is too thick for your atty.... I had this issue when i first started especially since ive been a DL and chain vape'r since the beginning. Unfortunately until i got to my most recent tank was i able to vape to my hearts content and have great wicking with the juice my body doesnt hate (PG=DEVIL for me)

A flooded coil will usually not produce vapor and just gurgle or spit and what your describing is more or less what @BackDoc described as properly saturated. Trust me a flooded coil is not what you want as it is the most annoying thing to have happen when you are not near your gear to swap out a coil. For your problem you could try poking the coils cotton with a pin to allow it to wick better.

Yeah i misused the word flooded :)

Thanks for all input ECF's ^^

So when i take a few pulls without firing and have the best taste, that would be a perfect saturated wick.
I will have to thin my juice then. Will try. Thanks again.

Btw i can only do this on my KayfunV5 and Taifun GTIII tank. Those are easy to build i think.
But can't get a decent build on my ubertoot... just once i had it right but when i changed the wick... no good anymore.
Ah well i will open a new topic later about that if i find nothing. ;)

GN!

Edit: oh forgot to add i use 90% VG in the K5 and GTIII.

You may want to add a 2-3 drops of water per 10 ml of juice. Juice flow will be improved. And try higher PG juice (why high VG juice for Kayfun? I use 50/50)

@Alien Traveler

Allright i am going to try that to.
Why i am not using a 50/50 ratio because i don't like that in many of my mixes.
I only use higher PG ratio's for tobacco. Fruits and pastry i want as much as VG possible even 20% PG is to high in most cases. But i still suck at getting a good vape at most of my tanks. I don't get any consistency at all. I don't know why. The only tank for me that is really easy to use is the bellus.

Sometimes i think why i want a tank so much. A dripper is easy to use. Guess i have to learn or go to a workshop with experienced people as soon as possible.

The single coil build on an Ubertoot is easy.
The wicking must be "generous" to start, after you adjust the two rings,,your juice flow control,, cut flush to the E-chamber..

Yes it should be easy, somehow its flooding my air channel.
The first time i had to do it 4/5 times to get a good vape, but it was really good the best i ever had.

Yesterday i changed the wick and again i had to do it a couple of times, but somehow my cotton gave a bad taste so tonight i rewicked it. But no good results (i changed the wick to the 2 wick channels instead of the big one)

Used 90% VG of course ;)

Can you do a dual coil in a ut?

With only one A/F, a dial coil would be quite Hot, Wicking would also be problematic.

On the internal juice flow, the "windows" must be closed down a bit if you are experiencing flooding..
