Well, I'm temporarily in a rehab place. I don't have any pliers here to open the Nautilus tank, tank is leaking, and I accidentally got juice down the center and keep getting juice in my mouth every time I try to puff.

How can I clear up the juice so it's not getting sucked into my mouth?

And what can I do about the head getting screwed on so tight that it won't come off?

I've had an awful vape day here. Can anyone help? TIA

If there is any way to stick the tank in a freezer for about 10 minutes, the parts will slightly contract, making it easier to take apart. Also, see if there might be one of those rubber jar lid opener pads in a drawer somewhere.

Dampen a couple wash rags for better grip?
If mine was leaking, I'd take the coil out, clean inside, blow the coil out good.
reinstall and remember to tilt the base UP when it starts gurgling.
My worst leaks were from the top coming loose.
    GL on the rehab
Oh, ok. Thank you. I'm not allowed to keep it with me so I have to rely on the staff here, and they don't help much. I might be able to take a wash cloth outside though.

To separate the coil from the other silver part is going to take pliers at the least.

Yes, I was thinking about the rubber jar opener too! I don't have one here though. Thank you for the freezer idea, but I don't think they'd allow that. I'm very limited as far as what they'll let me do. I wish I were at home! Thank you for the great advice, when I'm home I can try it.

If you are able to get a wide rubber band that works good for unscrewing the base.
Try turning the Nauty upside down and blowing through the mouthpiece, it will help to clear the flooding sometimes, you will get juice blowing out of the air holes though so use a tissue around it.
Good luck, pliers are a real last resort

Roll up a paper napkin and twist it into the hole after removing drip tip.........keep your mod upside down while doing this.....puff a few times with the mod upside

down after removing the twisted up napkin and this will help dry out the coil as the eliquid will not be able to get to the coil....keep your air holes wide open.....this

should give you a little relief until you can get the atomizer apart................................

Is it the base that you can't separate from the tank or the coil that is stuck in the base.
Thank you. Both, I think. Since everyone who tries has so much trouble trying to open the tank, I've been just twisting off the whole base including the coil. (For the past week.)

Blow it while upside down to clear, making sure to put paper towels or napkins around the air for what comes out. Use dish gloves to grip while opening. I've had some luck using sandwich bags for that grip needed. If you can't even get a hold of those use a USB cable as a loop wrench.
Thank you. How can I blow it while upside down?

Thank you. I have tried that without success, maybe my fingers are too weak or I'm not holding it right.

If you can get the base off then it is the coil that is stuck, which will probably need some brute force to remove, in the meantime, if you think the coil is still ok, reassemble and try clearing the flooding as noted above in a couple of replies.
Try the rubber band trick on the coil, just make sure you dry it as much as possible or the rubber band will slip.

Thank you. I don't know how to puff it upside down. Do I have to tilt my head back and hold it above my face?

    To blow it upside down.
Assemble the whole tank, install it on your mod, sit down, hold it to your mouth as normal, tilt your head back until the bottom of the mod is pointing at the ceiling, and blow into the mouthpiece gently to moderately, holding a paper napkin loosely around the air holes to catch any liquid that comes out.

This worked! I actually got to vape on the morning smoke break (I have to go out with the smokers and I'm the only vaper here).

Now I just have to fill it again on the next smoking break. Thank you everyone for all the excellent advice!

My Nauti is the hardest tank I own to unscrew. I always need to remind myself leave a tiny bit of slack when re-assembling it.

But, yeah, I bought a 3-pack of those jar openers; one for the kitchen, one of the office and one in my backpack. When my 'funs lock up, I do the same freezer ritual.
