Pardon if this has been answered before - I did a search but came up with nothing..

I believe I flooded my passthrough this morning..not quite sure how, except maybe I was half asleep and filled my cartridge twice?? Dunno..don't think I did..but somehow I surely flooded the atomizer, and I think the passthrough too..

I blew the atomizer out and cleaned it up, and while the passthrough LED lit up, it didn't heat up the atomizer. So I stuck the atomizer on a regular battery -- it vapes fine on this. Got out the spare passthrough, vapes fine on that (but the cord is dodgy, so I want my GOOD passthrough back..lol)

I have tried sitting the passthrough up to drain out (atomizer end down) while at school this morning. Then blew it out with canned air when I got home and still nothing. It continues to light up but won't heat an atomizer up to vape with.

Is there any fix for this, or have I just killed off my passthrough?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

I haven't found a way to fix this :(. There is a chip inside that could be burnt out by the liquid.... I've killed at least 6 this way. I suggest removing the atomizer from the passthrough when not in use.

Bummer....live and learn, I suppose :) Another reason to look into getting a Prodigy...LOL

Actually I was in the process of using the passthrough when this happened -- setting up my morning vape session. I just somehow need to be more awake when doing it..LOL Still not quite sure what I did, but I surely DID flood the atomizer and I guess the battery :(

Has anyone else found a way to fix this, including any DIY options?

Once the automatic switch inside the top portion of the passthrough gets drenched with enough e-liquid, it is toast. This is a primary reason many vapers eventually move to manual devices where the battery is (or can be) sealed from the fluid in the atomizer. The only option I can think of is to completely gut your passthrough and convert it into a manual passthrough - no microprocessors, no LEDs, no capacitors, just a button to turn the atomizer on and off.

If the light still comes on I would bet the contact points in the atomizer and the pass through are not touching. Try screwing them together a bit tighter or you can straighten out a paperclip and stick it in the hole of the atomizer contact and ease it out just a tad to make sure it touches the contact in the passthrough when they are screwed together.
