Ok, I have found a solution to the flooding problem with the Smoketech Tank and DCC flanged cartos I was using.
The issue was when I filled it after a couple puffs the carto would get too filled with juice and continuously gurgle.
I read here about holes and their sizes and vacuum within the tubes and so on.
It took three day to find this solution. The juice was running thru even the small stock hole too easily creating flooding even with small easy draws. I took some paper and folded it up to create a spacer to bring the bottom of the tank up to partially cover the tank hole it started to work but even with the hole half covered it was still flooding...but flooding less.
Next I turned the tank upside down and did the same. ( so the flange would push the tank up because the recess was now on top). That helped too ...could barely see the hole when looking thru the tank...but still flooding a bit.
Finally went to Home Depot and bought a pkg of 8 - 3/8" diameter hole washers. They allow the diameter of the carto to slip thru but also stop at the flange so it is an effective spacer. The hole was now not visible when looking in the tank. The flooding stopped!! It works perfectly no matter how hard I try to draw. It cost 1.05 to fix this problem.
I use this on an Omega with a 510 to ego connector, and then the ego to tank adapter for 5ml tanks and the washer fits right in between like it was custom made for it. I cannot see the hole but it works perfectly. Problem solved.
It looks great and works like a charm...try it out.
