Hello fellow vapourizers / non-smokers,
I am new to the site so please forgive me if this has already been suggested.

I believe it would be very beneficial if a manufacturer would give us
the choice of a fluid which didn't contain the PG, thereby producing
non-visible vapour.

This would be great in public places--we could remain discreet,
(especially with black or stainless models)
and not upset or invite controversy from anti-smokers with even the LOOK of "smoking".

I think that the anti-smokers HATE even the appearance of smoking
and some even get enraged :-x, just because of the look.
They are operating almost purely on an emotional basis in their reaction to e-cigs/vapourizers.
If we had always had the choice of discreet invisible vapour and used that fluid if we were around anti-smokers it's possible we may not be facing resistance now or at least far less, and may have even won some more of them over
to at least consider a rational discussion.
I am not positive, but I don't believe smoking has been villified in China
(at least nowhere to the degree it has in the West) and the manufacturers may only now be realizing what we are up against politically.
I have asked some fluid manufacturers to please give us the choice of "non-visible" vapour. I'm asking if some of you would as well---
Plesse ask your fluid supplier(s) to give us the choice of a discreet non-visible vapour for use where the e-cig might start controversy or even confrontation because of non-informed or misinformed no/anti-smokers.
We just cant lose this.

A hypothetical analogy to the illogic of banning e-cigs could be:

Coffee "A" has caffeine, but for whatever reason, also has possibly hundreds of toxic and carcinogenic compounds in it.
Coffee "B" only has caffeine and maybe a few FDA "approved safe" constituents in it.
Should the FDA ban the safe / far safer coffee "B"?

Thanks for reading :)

Hey Nick, welcome to the forum!

I think someone else has thought of this - one problem I could see with such "stealth vapor" is part of the addiction is the damn cloud, blowing the smoke, playing with it, (smoke rings, french inhaling,etc....)

Bingo! Hit the nail on the head. So many of the anti's out there are anti-smokers, not anti-vapers..... They've been fed the pap for so long that if "it looks like a cig, if it smokes like a cig, then it must be a cig, and therefore EVIL!" that they've lost the will to decide for themselves if this is a good thing, or a bad thing.... and I think that the Big 3 (pharm, tobacco and brother) are actively promoting that mentality becuase our PV's scream of innovation and the end of their strangleholds......

It helps to inhale and hold the vapor in your lungs for a bit before exhaling - that will take away most of the visible vapour (better with PG then with VG though - VG gives some more and 'thicker' vapor). And for the ruyan original liquid, it will take away virtualy all visible vapour. I have a bling (from Wayne, HeavenGifts) and use the original cartridges for those myself (next to other devices and liquids of course). When I don't want to show any vapor, I use this combination (plus holding it inhaled a bit before exhaling) and I can do this with no visible vapour showing at all.
And welcome to these forums! :)

When I first started vaping I too thought it would be great to have a no-vapor liquid so I could vape in a place like Wal-Mart (yeah unlike hubby who vapes EVERYWHERE just to see what people will do, I just don't want the confrontation - guess I'm more of a closet vapor lol .

Problem I see is:

1. If it doesn't provide me with vapor, I question if it's working.

2. My hubby is ALWAYS dripping or adding VG JUST for the sake of billows of vapor. In his opinion, the more the better. He is the kind that quitting analogs was terrifying and with switching to vaping NEEDED at least the experience of blowing out billows of "something" .. although anything probably would do, but he feels the need to have that vapor cloud in order to bring happiness to his life.

3. It's a good idea but from reading the forums that vapor cloud seems to bring joy and happiness to the lives of many. I think people would have a hard time switching over to a "cloudless" liquid.
