There is yet another Caravela tube set on the scene (SKU 13537) however, this one gives me great cause to be excited! This set is reminiscent of the very high quality EHpro 18350 Caravela mod already being sold at Focalecig. This new set is 23mm, bears the same heavy, thick tubing as the 350 Caravela, the mirror polish finish, and is 63 grams heavier than the other all stainless Caravela tube set ... with another very enticing product detail .... An adjustable copper contact in the top cap

Now the bottom cap has an adjustable brass contact, which we know is a good electrical conductor however, copper is far superior to brass in terms of electrical conductivity (copper being 100% conductive), So this mod is poised to be a very hard hitting one, in addition to the refined elegance of a mirror polish finish, the durable quality of thick machined tubes, and of course the variety of 3 battery tube configurations.

Whoever has been following this thread knows what a huge fan I am of the EHpro 18350 Caravela, from quality, to looks, and performance ... This new Caravela tube set has me ... I gotta make this happen!





But I'm not done ... the next eye catcher for me is the Aqua RBA .... with the red o rings Now, from what I understand, the red o ring version of the Aqua is the one to have. The e liquid channels look nice and deep on this one too ... I am actually a fan of the aesthetics of the Aqua, yet another one on my very long wish list of vape gear, in addition to the Origin Mod that goes with the Aqua ...

There is also on new arrival the Tobecco Kayfun Lite, several new RDA's including the Vortex, a Foggy V18, IGO W3, and two new Patriots ... I sure hope that FOCALECIGSHARING discount coupon is still in effect

Urgh! Got up this morning and the 13164 Squapes had totally leaked out all their juice!

FC Squapes:
13164: Bottom leaks through bottom post through screw, very tight draw...........Just say "NO".
13165: No leaks, if you like an "airy draw", this ones gets a "Yes". Use an air flow adapter to reduce it, or take a pass.

I still have my Russian 91%'s coming (they finally got out of the warehouse) and I'll post them once they get here. I MIGHT take the Squapes apart, but I think I have "2 dead soldiers" on my hands. I pulled the screws just now for ****'s and grin's, and there's an o-ring between the screw and the threaded post. Either the screw's head is too small or the o-ring isn't beefy enough.
After fiddling with so many different "toppers" for about 11 months before the 1st KFL, (seriously, building coils for the PT2's was a "step up" but don't ever want to go there again!) I'm to the point of if I have to screw with these things to make them perform, I'm just going to put them in the "spare parts" box.

Ok, this is duly noted. Squape sku 13164 is a no, and Squape sku 13165 is a yes! ... Email Doris with your feedback on this so she knows that this Squape is no bueno, and she may want to pull it from her inventory, and just leave Squape sku 13165.

I sure hope the Russian 91% are winners, nobody wants too many devices in the "spare parts" box .. although some are good to have. Can you interchange parts between the two different Squapes?

And sorry for my morning Evilness NiNi ... the Devil made me do it! ... That shinyitis syndrome I tell ya, and that new Caravela is giving it to me bad.

Definitely a winner!!! Cheap, but built well, practically seamless, I actually wished I had bought these first, instead of the other KFLs. Contact Doris about future stock. The only down side is that it does NOT come with any extra parts or screw driver. $15.00 and some change, you can't pass it up!

Based on your feedback NiNi, I definitely think its worth Doris's time to find another supplier for this particular Kayfun. I know that multiple suppliers can carry the same exact devices, so I hope she can make it happen with a new supplier.

Oh is it?? I haven't checked out the group buys today, only looked at the new arrivals ... the Zerotank is the Kanger Aerotank without the logo ... hence zero Its the same stainless steel construction with pyrex tank, and air flow control ... everything is identical, just no Kanger logo.

And woohoo for $25 for the new Caravela .... A STEAL!!!

This makes me glad that I ordered the Squape SKU 13165. Ordered on March 1, dispatched to EMS Shenzen CN on March 5, processed through the San Francisco USPS sorting center today! I should see it by Friday March 14 or Sat March 15 at the latest then... I hope!

Plus the SKU 13165 has the Pyrex glass tank rather than the polycarbonate tank... much better IMHO!

This makes me glad that I ordered the Squape SKU 13165. Ordered on March 1, dispatched to EMS Shenzen CN on March 5, processed through the San Francisco USPS sorting center today! I should see it by Friday March 14 or Sat March 15 at the latest then... I hope!

Plus the SKU 13165 has the Pyrex glass tank rather than the polycarbonate tank... much better IMHO!

Just a quick tip: Don't mix and match parts from different vendors.

I ordered a 18650 extension tube from Fasttech for my 18350 Caravela clone that I picked up from FocalEcig and they are different diameters -- the Fasttech 18650 tube is about 1mm smaller, so the top cap and bottom firing button from the 18350 kit won't fit on it.

Obviously there are different suppliers of Caravela parts, so be sure to order them from the same company should you decide to piece parts of a kit together.

I was looking at that Vortex myself, it looks a bit nicer than the FastTech one and it fits in with me steam turbiney collection a lot.

With Caravela's som are 23mm, some are 22mm and some are even in the middle of that so do check the tubing sizes, I think you can send stuff back to FT with no restocking fee but you lose the postage costs which you will have to pay, or alternatively put 'em up on eBay where Chinese stuff ends up overpriced anyways so you could undercut and even make a little profit

grrrrr.... i ordered my KFL from fc 20 days ago and its still not here i even went as far to get a tobeco clone from the local B&M till then, and i like it "OK" but it just doesnt match flavor of my dripper even close... i dont know whats wrong. it may be how i built it or maybe i got a bad one? well, time to go surf the KF threads and try and find an answer and try and avoid all these group buys yall keep talking about! maybe Nikkita did find it and snag it lol

Yes, I know this very well. If you had consulted me prior to your FT purchase I could have stopped you, and saved you a few bucks. The Focalecig 350 Vela is a 23mm EHpro, which is not compatible with FT's 22mm Caravela's.

Correction my sweet, I saw YOU on FT up to your old shopping, and collecting antics! ... I know where to look for you when you are not around for a few days. ;-) I can't wait to see your finished product my dear, I am very curious to see how your KFL with turn out after you complete it's makeover.

ETA: I really like the Vortex RDA, love the look of it, but I heard that you need to drill out the tiny air hole on the PMMA section, which I have no problem doing, except I don't own a drill ... well I actually do own a drill, but I only have phillip's head, and flat head bits for it ... no drill bits.

I was going to order an EHpro Caravela clone, but from what I understand, all the EHpro Caravelas are 23mm.

The problem is ... All the Kayfun Lites (clones and authentic) are 22mm, so I ordered the Hcigar Caravela clone which is also 22mm and matches in diameter the Kayfun Lite.

FastTech Caravelas are also 22mm (at least the ones I looked at)

Aww ... I hope it gets here soon. What does your tracking say, and what date did it go through EMS/Shenzhen?? ... Maybe the Kayfun Queen NiNi, or Delboy can provide you some advice and assistance with the Tobecco Kayfun, as I know NiNi has several, and she seems to have a way with them ... I am sure she will chime in as soon as she is back around these parts, unless Delboy chimes in first as I think he may have a couple as well.

You may even be able to find some posts from her in the KFL thread ... Kayfun are supposedly known for their superior flavor production, so perhaps something needs to be tweaked with your build method.

You are correct, all EHpro's are 23mm. That is totally understandable that you would want the 22mm Vela, many people prefer a flush diameter between RBA and Mod ... the 23mm works for me because I have three 23mm RBA's. But I also don't mind using a 22mm RBA w/a 23mm mod, I like to vary the look of my set ups, I don't want them all to look the same.
