It does, but be prepared for a lot of issues :(

It is a sharp looking atty. As I noted in the SqR clone thread, I think the only issue with mine is the short 510 pin. I may try to run it with the extra 510 o-ring this evening after I have a change to thoroughly clean it (can't give it a good cleaning at work).

I emailed Doris and Eleven. I figured between the two I should get a response. I just hate having to wait another couple of weeks for the new pin. But, it's been over a month at this point so another couple of weeks won't kill me. Hopefully I can get this thing running 100%.

Roxy, have you gotten confirmation that your SqR parts have actually shipped? Or does FC still need to source them?

This thing looks pretty righteous on my Workhorse. I really need to get it cleaned and running. I'll have to give it some time on one of my regulated boxes before having the confidence to run on it a mech though.

Ok,
I bought a Vamo 8 25 watt on the 18th, it is now the 25th and it is in Jamaica,NY.
I opted at the USPS site to get text messages every time the package is scanned.
I will hopefully receive it (RI) in a couple more days. That would be great time from China.
I will keep everyone posted.
Jees, every sentence here begins with I...feel kind of self-centered :)

The most recent text says I am getting it today !!:rickroll:
I will do a review and post it here:

 what was I thinking?

What do you guys think of the brass Fire of Life on sale? I think I need it for the Heron, since they got the size right on this one, and it has all three tubes...I'd have to make a better spring or get magnets, right?

Doesn't that one come with a magnetic switch? Get it if you like it :)

I got several tobacco flavors mostly from FlavourArt, then some vanilla, caramel, creme, sweetener and a couple of things I can't remember. I was trying to get to a smooth tobacco base with a hint of something creamy and a light touch of sweetness. What came out was either nasty tobacco-ish or sweet candy.

If I would have hung in there and done it one flavor at a time until I got each one right, then started blending them together at the end I might have had a chance. The problem with that approach is that I found all the tobaccos and some of the others needed steeping. Enter the myriad of possible combinations and my total lack of patience and to the back of the refrigerator they went.

With DIY its important to get a grasp on all of the flavors individually before you start mixing them. You need to understand how strong each one is, and how they develop in flavor over the course of a week or so. Once you get to know the flavors individually it then becomes easier to understand what flavors will play well together and at what strength.

For a simple yet complex Tobacco I would have started with TFA's DK-tab or 555. For a creamy flavor TFA's bavarian creme with a either a dash of vanilla or original caramel. A lot of people swear by Flavour Art however, I wasn't impressed at all. TFA has a lot of misses, but they have some proven winners too.

SqR clone finally showed up after 31 days... and it's a POS. I've already emailed Doris to get the "parts kit". The 510 pin is definitely too short. Haven't gone much farther than that yet. I probably won't mess with it at all until I get the new pin.

edit: should I be emailing service@focalecig.com rather than sales@focalecig.com for this?

Sales@ is the best way to get Doris .. was the packaging changed on yours?? I heard that the supplier did change switch manufacturers and so the packaging was different. Go check out my Squape review and compare what you have, I am not so sure that you and Roxy received the same one that Nailz and I did. It also appears that Ivogo is no longer supplying the Squape, all of their alibaba listings have disappeared, so I am figuring that is the reason for the supply change.

I thought the first Squape was such a PitA that I never bothered to even look at the newest version

does look a bit more pleasing to the eye. I'd give it that

That is about all I would give the Squape R .. I do have a version 1 Squape however, I got it about three months after the first run debacle and all of the internal shorting issues were worked out, so I loved it. My V1 is better than the Squape R.

See .. you're getting sucked into the "good looking girl/guy" that you keep giving another chance saga already

Roxy indicated that mine is in the same packaging hers was in. Definitely not the same as yours:

Mine does have the o-rings pre-installed though and there is a spare set in the parts bag. The only real issue I can identify is the 510 pin being too short.

No confirmation of shipping the parts. I don't think they actually have them yet :(

 I missed my DHL delivery today  They came too early at 10:30am .. so sad day for Nikki
You mean your delivery person doesn't just toss it in the general direction of the front door regardless of weather and drive off like mine does? I've sworn to never purchase again if I'm required to have to deal with DHL delivery regardless of how much I want something after my last delivery from them.

And you folks who've already gotten the long delayed SqR are telling me that I need to deal with eleven just to get a usable device? It won't work as delivered over a month from when I ordered? :banghead:

Uh, yeah. Chances are that whatever you receive will be fiddly at best, inoperable or potentially unsafe at worst. I think I can get mine going without the replacement parts... but I won't be happy about it. I was just relieved that the tank o-rings were already installed.

If you want tobacco flavors Inawera is probably the best. I have some and make the 555 with marshmallows and caramel candy.also I made a burley and clove which is good

Yep, that is the same box I have. I'm glad you don't have to go through the o ring trouble.

And bear in mind I've gone as long as 6 days without issues with mine. I don't think I'll ever trust it on a mech. It sure does look good on there though!

Yeah, but do you think you'd still be having the problems you've been having if you had the right-sized pin and proper insulator/gasket thingie to keep it from wobbling?

I'm asking, because all I have are mechs. I just got mine from FT today and it's prettty much like inswva's (short pin, everything else looks OK). Do I keep this little monster and try to fix it, or just return it? And if I kept it, would it be worth all the trouble?

 Oh, FT...they sent my Vapelyfe mod with mismatched serial numbers! :grr: I knew of this possibility going in, so I submitted a ticket requesting one with matching #s. They said "sure, no problem." THEY LIED! I know it won't matter in use, but damn, it really bothers me seeing them all in a row like that. The #s are in the front of this mod and I can't even sand it off (clearcoated). :grr:

Thanks guys, I will bookmark these suggestions and may get the gumption to try again one day. The problem is that I like complex flavors and they require commitment and patience. Both qualities that I don't have lots of. :)

In other news it looks like Sony has started production of VTC4's and maybe 5's again. :thumb:
