That is awesome to hear because I heard that the authentic can be leaky ... I probably will not get to my Lancia for about a week or so, but I did order some Japanese cotton and I look forward to trying it with the Lancia.

Japanese cotton is all I use now in all my toppers :)

No I don't mind, will take all but 5 minutes to re-skim the bore, send away ;)

Drifter ..honey .. boo boo :D Two random questions?

    1. How difficult would it be to change a sandblasted finish to brushed? And I mean for me to do :) I want to change one of my Zero sleeves to a brushed finished because that is the one that I really like

    2. How difficult would it be for you to create body sleeves for the Zero? Brass and/or SS? :D

Do you have the Kon Gen Do good stuff, or the Muji, Kobo stuff? :D

don't know what brand I am using right now, as still going through a few pads from vaporshark, then got a few pads free with my lemo, and then I ordered some from cotton-labo from japan on amazon, was $10 for 200 pads, but not used any of that yet.

Changing a finish depends on the material and how deep the sandblasting it. For aluminum you could get away with scotch brite and going in one direction for your strokes. For steels that would require sanding first to remove the sandblasting pits then scotch brite for the brushed look. They make scotch brite wheels that you could mount on your drill that could make the process easier.

From the looks of those sleeves they appear bent and not made out of a single block of material. We do not have bending presses at our shop so I couldn't make them like that. To machine it out a chuck would be costly for the chunk of raw material and time to machine it. Not really a cost effective option but could be machined.

Does it have seed and husk in it, with a off white-ish beigey tone, or is it pure white? Ahaha ..

Thanks you hun for the anwsers :) .. the Sandblast finish is aight, but since I have two and I love the brushed finished sleeve I figured it was worth inquiring about. :)

Yosen did say that they plan to make sleeves with different finishes, but I am impatient and prone to dreaming

Has seed and beige tone, hasn't been bleached ;)

Sounds like good stuff .. I heard some talking about using the Shiseido pads, but those look pure white which means that have to be bleached because pure cotton doesn't look like that.

Have you used it in your RBA's, or only your drippers?

I use it in everything I use, foggers, orchid, lemo, magma, it wicks better than normal cotton, I didn't like rayon like a lot of people, but do like the japanese cotton though :)

Let me put in a vote for rayon, CCr from Sally's. Check out the huge thread here for info if you're interested in rayon. Good info, other sources than Sally's, how to wick all sorts of atomizers.

I tried rayon and just didn't like the taste.
