I got the sigelei 100watt in vape mail yesterday afternoon. Put batteries in and gave it a try......NOPE
It's a really nice unit but way too big for my hands, Felt very awkward and I'm not happy. They actually sent the Fushia skin so I loved the way it looked. Why am I talking in past tense? I put it up for trade on the boards this morning. Just in case any of you wanted to know.

Aww .. this is spoiling my anticipation for the V2, it looks so beautiful in the pics. I don't like the V1 its so basic looking, but the V2 looks sweet, but if its so big I am not sure that it will be sweet enough.

lol...

Even with two kids in college and one soon to be, I'm in a pretty good situation financially. However, my wife doesn't highly regard the merits of spending a lot of money on vape gear. She still wonders why my long since PIF'd starter gear wasn't sufficient for smoking cessation (and, in truth, it probably was). She does, however, understand my debilitating weakness for new hobbies and my propensity to throw fistfuls of cash towards any new pursuit. So, I've attempted to spend with some degree of moderation.

To that end, I've been liquidating the relics of past hobbies on Ebay which has subsidized quite a bit of my vaping expenditures. Fairly convenient to watch the money appear in PayPal from Ebay sales and then promptly disappear in a flurry of vaping transactions. I have a set of golf clubs listed on Craigslist which, when sold, should be good for a least a few of the items on my hit list. Turns out, I hated golfing.

I tried golfing too, couldn't see the sense in chasing a ball around filed but did discover it's great fun to throw a handful down range and shoot at them. They are challenge to hit with a handgun and sometimes when hit just right they take off like they were hit with a driver LoL.

Nice :) .. well, you have just reminded me to go check to see if my Erl clone is still "collecting products" Doris, she treats me so bad sometimes

My Hana has been sitting in "collecting products" for 2 days now.

I had a boss that got me into golf. Spent a few thousand in clubs and gear. Probably worth a few hundred now. I still play a few rounds every year with friends. Lately, it's been more like drinking outside and getting interrupted by having to hit a little white ball every few mins.

About 15 yrs ago, I quit my job and moved out to LA, CA. I took 6 months off and just played golf. I got down to about a 14 handicap before starting to work again. Never came close to those scores since.

Nikki, by V2 are you meaning the round one they are coming out with or the V2 of the box? Mine is the V2 of the box.

Search "VR bottle" at VapeRev. $2 each. I've seen cheaper else where but i can't remember where and it may have been overseas so probably not worth it after shipping.

 You have been so well behaved lately, I was starting to believe that you were successfully reformed :p

The big button mod or the Vapefly Vippo, Golden Crown, or Lovebirds mods are enough to earn you a Pow Pow
I'm too old to reform, besides the path to rightousness is overrated. ;)

Some of those mods are too ugly even for me. I may have to get another cheap SRX. :D

I got my SQR today from FC - 2 days earlier I got one from FT . Both made by Ivogo, both with the same issues. The +base is shorting even without the center screw. I could fix it by adding a selfmade isolator. Tested and meassured it for a long time before I started to build it. I forgot to test the tank section on the FC one and juice....... .
Fixed that too and now it is vaping stable at 0,9 Ohm. But I don`t trust this naughty boy. The anodizing is not very good. I meassured inside the holes of the decks too and got 0,0 Ohm. Isolating the posts is not easy, because the gap is not enough for shrink tubing. Maybe teflon tape could fit.

Is it worth to work so much on an atty? Is it save after that? Should I better buy a third Heron, Rose, FeV or Fogger? Questions over questions.

SQR`s taste is far better than SQ1, but it is less save. I like the design, the taste and the AFC. And no leakage without modding. My setup runs perfect up to 25 watts.

Btw: a shorting 510 screw is possible too, but a second o-ring will solve this problem.

Welcome to SqR Ivogo clone hell. Mine is finally running 100%. I replaced the 510 pin with a M3x16mm screw. Used an Aspire BVC insulator rather than o-rings. Double o-ringing the supplied 510 may or may not work... it didn't for me, at least not consistently. It would still jump resistance if I looked at it the wrong way.

Here's how I fixed mine:

Okay... here's the result.

As you can see, the head on the machine screw is much larger than then head on the 510 pin which I actually think is a good thing - more contact surface for the connection. It's only a hair longer so I'm not sure it's actually threading into the base much farther than the factory pin. I used an insulator from an old BVC head I had in my desk drawer. Granted, it's only been a few minutes but it works and firing about two dozen times resulted in a rock solid .8ohm. Seems to hit harder as well but that may be my imagination. Dunno... vapes like a wild beast now.

I couldn't use the SqR on my IPV2 (fixed 510) with the supplied pin. Works like a champ with the machine screw. There is some gap but I'm not a stickler for that kind of thing. I could probably reduce the gap if I torqued the machine screw into the atty a bit more but I don't want to push the insulator into the connector.

Only time will tell if I've excorsized the demons. I won't be convinced until it runs without issue for at least a week. But, at the risk of jinxing myself, I feel pretty good about it.

Thanks @inswva

The 510 screw was not my problem. The positive base was shorting the the base - even with no screw inside. So far the isolator between positive base and negative base stopped the shorting and I have a constant reading of 0,9 Ohm. I hope that the deck does not short. For the next weeks I will only use it on regulated mods. Don`t want to get too hot fingers.

No I mean the newly restyled 100W .. only seen small pics of it but I did hit up my boo Samantha at Sigelei and she said she will send me one, but let's see. Well known manufacturers feel less compelled to send out samples for review if their pre-orders take off before its finished production.

I just want to review it and take pictures of it
