And now FC has dropped the hana 50watt box, and only $47 without coupon, but does have the little fire button, damn good price for a 50watt box though

I keep looking at that one, but it doesn't look like it has an adjustable center pin. Non flush atties bug me after a while, maybe I'll have to wait for the next one.

I ordered the 30w version and a VariTube 510 connector. Just waiting on the hana clone and m10 x .5 tap.

My other FT hana croaked today. This time the 510. I ripped them both apart to get them ready for rebuilding. Ordered new, quality switches, fdv 510s. I have everything else.

Exactly what do you need to order from FDV to get the correct 510? Out of curiosity, what switches did you get?

Site says to use the V3 Wood version for Hana/Cana upgrades.

I got the VariTube version because it has a thinner top plate.

You'll also need a drill, 3/8" bit and tap (m10 x .5 for VT, m10 x 1 for FDV). A drill press is desirable.

The switches took a lot of research. The real hana uses C&k KSJ0M43180SHLFT switches. Supposed to be good for a million presses. I bought 10. At the very least I'm going to use them for the up and down power. I might drill out the fire button hole though and go with an antivandal switch there for comfort.

There's a guy that sells cradles for the dna board so you don't have to hot glue or epoxy. He also just released a cradle for the USB board. They're made to fit the FT hana enclosures but should fit in others with minor tweaking (dremel or sand paper).

My orchid v4 from FT is still saying china is getting ready to ship since the 29th, if there is no movement by the time focal gets there back in stock on the US warehouse, then just going to order one from them, know I like the orchid already, so won't matter to much if end up with 2

did anybody received a glass tank from ibtanked for the erl? do they have a good fit/seal? do they leave enough space for the bubbles to escape? thanks..

I forgot to mention the downside to wrapping the sleeve, which is the fact that you can no longer pull the sleeve off (loss of traction)

But you can gently pry it off with a flat head screw driver The price you pay for sexy

It seems to depend on which clone you have. I haven't ordered one yet, but plan to. People are reporting it fits my clone (ft silver box).

Yeah, first I have to see if anyone likes my mods, lol! I'm planning to go with wood. I don't have enough access to a machine shop to do unique metal bodies/parts.
