Fogger v2- tank wont stay in base!

Hi everybody, I got my fogger v2 in the mail a few days ago. Have gotten some great use out of it, but since I got it, the tank hasn't been fitting properly. I've watched any youtube tutorial I can find, and everybody seems to just press the tank onto the base after rebuilding the coil and putting on the chimney, and the tank stays in place. However, since I have gotten it, the tank has not wanted to stay in place - when I press it down, it pushes back up. I have to hold it down, and keep the pressure on while I put on the top piece to have it stay down. I've tried changing the o rings, but it doesn't help. Anybody have advice? It is because the o ring is large to keep a tight fit so it doesn't leak. If it bothers you just take the fill screw out to fill it. Mine only pops up when I take the top cap off. I take the top off to fill it rather than taking the screw out so I just hold on to the tank to keep it from popping off.
