Hi there!

I realize that those two are wildly different -- one is vacuum driven, and the other is a genny, but I'm trying to decide nonetheless. Both is not really an option for me at the moment :)

Looking for something that would be relatively pocket friendly, in a sense that it wouldn't leak if it falls over on its side.

Pulse-G is very easy to top off, while Fogger has capacity for the whole day vaping.

Halp, I can't decide!

Thank you!
Commie

well the pulse being a genesis is going to leak if left on its side too long.
as for the fogger? i would go to fasttech and wait it out for a taifun gt clone now that they have 1:1 replicas.

the taifun or kayfun would be much more pocket friendly then a genesis any day. also less fiddling, once a bottom feed with soft wick is set up correctly you usually need no further adjustments. in the case of a geni they work great but a good jar or bump can cause the wick/coil to need readjusting sometimes and that can be a pain in the middle of traffic lol.

no i mean as of now they have a direct taifun gt clone - logo and all. even says made in germany on the box and is built the same way with the drop down deck. since your willing to wait might as well throw another couple of days in for the preorder. I have the real taifun and I just ordered the copy to see just how close it it.

germany is even threatening to confiscate them from the mail as the taifun is tradmarked lol

I was having the same dilemma have you seen this review :

This guy can barley contain himself, he seems like he loves it, the pulse. I just ordered the pulse and the rocket from fast tech. Along with a K2 Mech Clone for like 40 all together.

How does the vacuum style work neways? Doesn't it still have a wick that goes down to the tank?

just like how a protank head works. the wick is inside a small chamber(the head) and usually there is small holes somewhere in the bottom, when you take a drag or pull the air pressure draws in a little juice and bubbles go into the tank to relieve the pressure change. when the wicks are built correctly it will not flood or dry hit.

I had a Pulse-G in my Fasttech cart but I cancelled it last night and instead ordered a Taifun GT. I already have an RSST so I decided to get something more pocket friendly as I am always worried about having it upright, if I do not, it leaks all over the place. I do use it as my out and about atty so leaking is always on my mind and kind of pita babying this thing. Don't get me wrong I love my RSST but it has the flaw all genny's have. Looking forward to the Taifun hope it lives up to it's hype. Thrasher do you use cotton in your Taifun?

Only input I can provide on this is I have had a fogger v2 for about 2 months and it's my all day.. it's only leaked on me one time and it was because I filled it with the air wide open and was too tight on the needle to fill it.. normal like falling over I haven't had a problem.. I had a tank shatter once when it fell out of my pocket and landed on the drip tip on concrete. Overall I am very satisfied with it after fiddling and getting it all set up. I have done gen's and they are great for at home.. otherwise not my cup of tea. The 1:1 Taifun clone looks good, but I am use to glass tanks now, after having issues with poly carb I prolly won't pick one up.. just my opinion.

Yeah, I have 2 Foggers myself, and have a similar opinion of them. I imagine they probably have about the same performance. I did notice on the new clone, however, that the sill around the deck is removable, which makes it look like it would be a lot easier to coil. That's why I hope someone does a review to contrast the two sometime soon.

OK I just ordered the fogger v2 from fasttech. I guess I'll have to do the review one heard tons of good stuff about it I didn't know the difference between Genesis Style and Vacuum but hopefully the fogger won't leak for me either I think u just have to get the wick right. Now I have A Pulse, a Rocket, and a Fogger on the way. Did I mention I've never touched a mechanical at all, well besides hitting a few different ones from random ppl at shops... I guess I'm jumping in head first.
