I ordered two foggers, one from vaporciggz and the other from cloudsofvapor. They both don't have the grommet under where the coil lines up with the airhole, so luck there, but I had to take the base off of the from from cloudsofvapor and adjust the silicone piece to allow airflow to the side air holes, it had become twisted somehow and was blocking them. I finally got a proper micro coil going, 28 gauge kanthal on a 1/16th drill bit, about 10-11 wraps giving me a 1.5 ohm resistance (I want to use it on my vamo as well as my mech). I used sterile cotton balls for the first time, threading it through the coil after mounting it (thanks to the guy with the suggestion of using 18g needle tip in the screw holes, easy peasy to get the bends needed to screw the coil down). I cut the cotton down flush with the wall where the slots are cut out and put a little excess along the sides. First vape was amazing, and kept on being amazing for the first hour, flavor and th were great, almost as good as my trident with dual coils @ .9 ohm. However, after the first hour I started getting dry hits, I could remedy this by closing the airholes and taking some dry pulls to wet the wick, but that's a hassle and I'm starting to taste the cotton now. I guess I may have a little too much cotton in my wick but damn, it's a fine line! I want to play with an ss mesh wick tonight, maybe lay a piece of 3mm silica on top of it as a flavor wick. I'll probably do that on my second one and try a little less cotton in this current build on the one I'm using now, a did love the flavor of it when I first started vaping on it, I just need to get the juice flow right.
P.S. Thanks to those who have been giving suggestions and letting us know what's worked. And a special thanks to the guy that put the pictures up on how to get the base off to adjust the silicone piece and as I mentioned above, the guy that suggested using the needles to seat the coil. I would go back and get your screen names but, this thread is large and I've read through the whole thing already, I'm too lazy atm to go look for the post.
