I would try running it under hot water for few minutes, get some water inside too. The o-rings are probably just dry and stuck. Even if you have to send it back or something you should be able to dry out the water.
Sounds like your oring is a little big or something. Just so you know the top metal disc is not supposed to come out of the glass with the unit together...the glass comes off with the top disc attached. Not sure if that's what you meant or what.
But I would definitely wait for VB's response - you might have gotten a bad unit or something.

I know, and the top is moving about 1-2 mm and I can't budge the bottom!
Thanks all for the advice...I am not doing a thing to it until I hear from VB...
I was having trouble with mine too,the o-ring was melted to the glass some how...finally got it apart. Had to scrape the old o ring off the glass and install a new one.

I put my gennies in the freezer for 10 minutes. Then tank will slide off o-rings. I just received my 3rd Fogger from VB yesterday. It would not work out of the box. The airflow was blocked by the flat insulator. To get the base apart i had to drop it in boiling water for 5 minutes. After its hot bath, the base came apart & you could see the insulator blocking the intake holes. The repair took an xtra 10 minutes, but the device is working great.
I always thought that metal shrinks/contracts with lower temperatures

Ya' know I realize these are "advanced" devices, but regardless of who and where it's made, it's either a POS or it isn't.
Maybe you feel this is acceptable, I do not.
While vaping and the DIY juices and some techniques so to say are for "hobbits" I don't have time to mess with stuff like this, I want to vape, not get ...... at something new outta da' box.
It maybe a GREAT device, but when you spend $200.00 for a Taifun, it operates as it is expected to, or a Zen for $150.00....
So you have 4 $30.00 atty you have to mess with???
That adds up to $120.00, $20.00 more ya' got a Zen!
JMHO
..... I have attys from high end (expecting a taifun any day!!!)to low end to self made, and one thing remains constant in all of them. And that is they typically have several parts and hardware that needs to go together correctly or they likely won't function properly.
.....and I think I'm out of pennies for the moment JMHO....but in the time you have taken to write your posts and contact VB you could have likely fairly easily removed your tank.
I always love the superior atty quips..... I have attys from high end (expecting a taifun any day!!!)to low end to self made, and one thing remains constant in all of them. The difference between 4 $30 Foggers and 1 Zen.....besides being completely different types of attys....is rather simple....4>1
I do understand your frustration, and while getting a stuck together Fogger sucks. I don't understand why you came here asking for help and then refuse to try any of it and then talk negative about it/other lower end attys.
Just remember that the info and tips posted aren't necessarily just for you, someone else my come along with the same problem and not have a problem with trying some of the suggestions.
Anyway my.....and I think I'm out of pennies for the moment

Received my second Fogger yesterday. It, too, had the glass stuck to the bottom o-ring, but some gentle twisting got it free. It took vicegrips and pliers to separate the base. there were sign of a liberal application of a locktite material on the threads. Then had to use my rotary tool to grind off and polish the base rings to get rid of the gouges the pliers had put in it. I went ahead and slightly enlarged the air holes in the 510 connector tube and cleaned out the air holes in the base. That done I cleaned it up made a new micro coil at 1.6 Ohms added some cotton and it is working fantastically, just like my first one. I can now rotate flavors more easily. Happy. Happy.
I don't mind a little tinkering. That's why I ventured into RBA's instead of sticking with my Protanks. Given that the Fogger is a great value with features that are not yet in some of the high-end atty's: air control, glass tank, and such.
I am 6'4" tall weigh 235 I am not a tiny dOOd, and I can't get it off....
Now gentile isn't going to work,and I don't feel like breaking something that is brand new, granted we have to tinker with everything at times, but;
When was the last time you bought a new pair of shoes and the heel was just a little loose, did you:
A.) Do nothing and trip a lot
B.) Glue it it place.
C.) Nail it it place.
D.) Return them for a pair with both heels attached.
Now granted this is not shoes, a car, a refrigerator or a fricken JET but it is new!
This is America and if YOU want to mess around with things you buy new, that's your prerogative, not mine!

I get that you're not happy with your purchase but I think you just need to relax a bit. I wasn't happy with mine either, so I traded them with a member of ECF that had one and wanted two more. I finally did get them working right, but my best experience was with mesh. I figured if I was going to mess with mesh, I would just stick with Genesis style atomizer's. That being said, I'm still going to try the v3, I'm curious to see what they did and it's not like these break the bank. And yes, one of mine had the airflow issue too, it was a pita to get the bottom off but I did it and fixed it. For the price point and the atomizer's that these are attempting to clone, some tinkering is to be expected.
This is from "VB" web site... "
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Fogger Rebuildable Tank is for ADVANCED users who have have the understanding and patience to work with rebuildable atomizers and hybrid type devices. This device is NOT covered by our 30 day warranty. DOA returns only"
So i guess i am now an ADVANCED user..... This was my 3rd Fogger & the only one with a restricted air intake. I was able to "BOIL & CORRECT" the insulator in the base, restricting... SEALING the air intake. I have a few kayfun lites, to just get me by. I also have hand made gennies, that make HUGE clouds. If i was not competent to disassemble & reassemble the COMPLETE DEVICE, i would fallow my fellow ECF members that have done or destroyed trying the same. I can fallow "suggestions" & read other ECF members experiences with every device i own. Take the bad with the good & learn & try to help as i go along. To just say this atty is (&%(&%#$#&*)*^# what would i learn or share? It does not work for me, i cant figure it out, i need another drink. Oh well, i do need another drink. I hope every one has a great day or eve & enjoy the clouds.
