Fogger v4 need help

I need some expert advice on fogger v4. I have watched several utube videos and still can't quite seem to get it right. I have tried a couple different ways of wicking. I either get a dry hit or after a while liquid starts to leak out air holes. Can anyone help? Thanks

This is why my v4 got retired. If you are getting dry hits you need less cotton. If you get leaking you need more cotton. It really is a fine line with the v4. I can only get it right like 1 out of 10 times, and I have been building my own coils for almost 2 years now.

I rarely get dry hits from my V4.4. However, when I take lots of hits continuously it will leak a little sometimes.
The way I wick it is to leave extra long cottons out, put the silver little cap on, then cut the excessive cottons out and then use a toothpick or something to push the cottons into the empty spaces.

That's kind of what I do with my 4.4 like in the video, but after I soak the cotton with juice I take the bottom sleeve, (the part that says Fogger) back off and lightly push the cotton just into the start of the channels. Don't pack it but leave it fairly loose just barely started into the edge of the channels. If I don't get it right the first time I dump the juice into a shot glass take it apart and readjust the cotton a bit. It's a fine line between dry hits and leaking, but worth it when it's right. I'm at .5ohm with mine.
