I retired my SS a few months ago and now am almost exclusively on hemp in Vivi nova, CE5, Evod, Protank, Innoken 16, 30s, 5 A7s, Ody, Penny and clones of these. I am using the ribbon on 5 Duds and 2 Cobras testing ceramic wicks. Favorite today is the Evod with hemp except when I fly as the change in cabin pressure sucks the juice out the bottom. For flying the CE5 or Vivi Nova on hemp. Ribbon can be used on any Genny type. Really have no favorite in those, all Gennies are the same to me, at the end it is the wick and coil that counts all the rest is eye candy.
Hi bj43
witch rebuildable atty would work best for this ribbon?.

can you use this method with regular kanthal wire? and the link is no longer working for the ribbon wire. Where is a good place to buy

You absolutely can do this with regular wire. It will effectively halve the resistance akin to a dual coil setup. It's a good alternative to being sad about that 50ft roll of 32ga that isn't being touched anymore ;)

KidneyPuncher.com sells the ribbon as well as some of the XS-116 and XS-18 silica sleeving.

TemcoIndustrialPower.com has ribbon and wire, but as of this posting most of their stock is pre-order. Shipping on ribbon is set for July.

I'm using some ribbon wire I picked up from Kidney Puncher on my AGA tank. With 4/5 wraps, I was able to get a .8 coil. It was my first successful coil in that tank and I went through a lot of wire and mesh trying to get it right. And it hits amazingly , throat hit, vaper production and flavor are outstanding. Still going to use the round wire for my Protanks and such. But I'm excited about seeing what I can do with the ribbon.
