Top tip of the day don't keep your spare battery in your pocket with your key's and loose change.With the benefit of hindsight this was really stupid burnt my fingers on hot change could of been worse been worse . Wont be doing that again lol.Fool proof but not damn fool proof

Never a good idea to carry a loose battery in your pocket, Li Ion or not..glad it wasn't worse

I shall be getting a case, I don't normally have a spare battery with me but leaving the house it felt like it was about to go flat,
It pretty much did so I swapped it and pocketed the "not as flat as I thought" one without thinking.

I made that picture just to show how easy is to short-circuit a battery in our pockets with keys or coins!

most of the times I dont leave spoon inside cap but I have burn my fingers a lot of times because I leave spoon inside the can where I boil the coffee and when I want to remove it, it burns my fingers Bren

Had the mistake once of lying down for a quick nap with a stealth with unlocked switch in my pocket. It felt nice and warm on the privates at first with matching nice dream until it got burning hot. 
Ah yeah once I threw an 18350 in my little case that had a small screwdriver and a couple little metal bits from GG mods.. They all ended up connecting in the perfect spot and burnt my case a bit... Needless to say I use my battery cases every time now!
