Sitting here, patiently waiting for the mail lady to bring my Perfumer's Apprentice and One Stop DIY shop order. Patience is relative at this point!
That is so me right now! There will be a package for me today and two more coming this week. I'll be singing that song all the way to the mailbox!
My mail person decided to screw me over today. I been here all day waiting for my package and they decided to not even bring it over to me, they put a notice in my mail box and just went on. it requires a signature and they just couldn't find it in their heart to get out of the truck and knock on my door. Oh and they can't say they didn't try. I got two dogs that can hear a pin drop a 100 yards away and will verbally let us know they heard something and they were both silent all day today. I am actually really ticked off about it to. Worst part about it is I can't even go down and get it because they haven't returned from the route yet and wont be back till after the office closes. So much for "Priority" mail!
Doomsday, that sucks! I hope you get your package tomorrow!!!

Should be one more hour, give or take. The mail lady just delivered across the street and it usually takes about an hour to come around to my side.... Anticipation is not something I deal with well.
I mentioned in another thread today that I'd looked out my window for the postal van so many times today that I was thinking about setting up a webcam. I was just joking but...once she was 2 hours late, I absolutely fired up Qik on my Android phone, propped it up looking out of my window with a good view of the parking lot, and fullscreened the stream on my TV+Linux box while I did housework.
(And yes, it totally worked...and yes, it's a free app from the Market [and App Store, probably], so yes, you can do this, too

i have security camera and arownd 2 i go out to see if the maill came yet if not i jest have my eye set on the camer unto i see that jeep and run out slipping down the ice
Maybe today, If not today then tomorrow, if not tomorrow by friday for sure... Hate that priority mail is not trackable...
