Funny how fear & ignorance go hand in hand.
Smoking is/was an accepted part of of society up to a few years ago. We've all seen the cool rugged guy with a smoke dangling from his mouth. The high class society broad, with her long black, slender & sleek filter, cradling her smoking stick.
Were we all not looking for a piece of that? The Rebel, the Sweet Classy Cool. I think yes!
Turns out that wasn't the healthiest lifestyle to strive for, in the long run anyway. But fun & free, & our own immortal rebel being? Hellz Bellz Yes.
So now we're a bunch of nic addicts......Cool, Classy & Rebels..... A few steps closer the the grave though.
We finally found a healthy alternative. Electronic cigarettes. OMG.........There has been one (maybe 2) unfortunate incidents.
Lets look at the bigger picture. How many people have directly died from lung cancer due to smoking? Why not post that all over the news?
Where are all the pics of different brands of cigarettes, the questions of what brand killed the smoker?
Why isn't there isn't a lot of info/pictures out there on what a lung cancer patient physically suffers through with their battle to stay alive? Hey, why not ask the family members what they endured, watching as yet another loved one slipped away?
Life is filled with so many whys. Why can someone die in a car crash? Should we ban cars? Why can someone die from a reaction to medication? Should they be banned? Should we ban matches & lighter because some people have died in fires?
We live, we experience, we learn, we die.
In this living experience we try to make it better & easier for ourselves & the ones that follow.
My thought.
