I'm current using the Trustfire charger. works great for me the the price i pay.

yeap... TF chargers work fine too but those only work on LI-on batts. the cnergy and nitecores work on nimh and nicad as well.

Actually if you don't mind paying cash you can go direct to fstoplights in Jurong.
Should have ordered charger from HC when I ordered my other stuff.
Now have to pay more for one from fstoplights.

I don't mind actually but its just too far coming from the east. I may just use the 490 for now. Stuff a tissue at the bottom plate, below the contact spring so as not to cause rattling on the Poldiac.

Talking about charger. Those using i4/i2 do you experience NiMh batteries getting very hot during charging?
I was charging few days ago and went touch. Nearly burn my hand. Faster took it out to cool and after awhile put it to charge again, everything is good again. Wonder what happen.

the i2/i4 uses the same charging current at 0.5A for charging both lithium and nimh batts. usually nimh batts aren't supposed to take such high current but this gets the job done as well with a few scares i guess.

I think you are right. I tried to replicate the same effect again again but failed after numerous attempt. Now I pay more attention when charging NiMh batteries on my i4
