Thanks for the info. :thumb: It is sort of old news though. Several vendors have been selling replacements since just after the polypropylene DCT's came out during the summer. But there may be many here that didn't have that information so you have helped bring this to their attention.

For those looking into getting a new cartotank, pyrex tubes seem to be the way to go now. Glass is the most inert substance to hold liquids, and is immune to those liquids known to destroy polycarbonate. No "plastic taste" in juices that some people say plastic tanks can impart.

Many vendors have sprung up in the last few months to offer pyrex tanks for $20. IBTanked and Valley View Vapes just to name a couple. For just a few bucks more than a polypro tank you can get a quality and durable glass one. I did a full review of the IBTanked recently here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tank-reviews/349222-ibtanked-pyrex-glass-tanks.html

my4jewels, I sincerely appreciate the thread on http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tanks/219179-lets-make-list-juices-flavors-crack-tanks-ce2s-clearos-29.html#post7203876. I link to this all the time in many of my posts.

I guess I'm behind the times. This is the 1st I saw of the pp replacement tubes. I have been very satisfied with them. Since I diy and have about 3 dozen tanks in rotarion, the pp is much more economical for me.

Your welcome about the thread about juices that damage polycarbonate. I'll need to update the list soon because I have more to add. :)
