I think the point may have gotten lost with some of the more literal, self appointed masters of the internet....

The point was you don't NEED an expensive mod to get a great vape .

The point wasn't 'are some mods better than others'. Sheesh

Yes there is a reason rock stars don't stroll into their local Walmart for a guitar. Any musical instrument (for the most part) that is more expensive, will sound better, and that is just a fact. With that said, instruments are built on a spectrum, so everyone can "play" without expending huge amounts of money. Although, I will say, as one enters say, a Suzuki or other "kid instrument teaching" center, there is a reason they sound so horrible. It's partially the instruments, and also this thing called "learning."

I have cheap vapes, I have expensive vapes, I love them all. While one may BELIEVE more expensive gear improves the experience (I believe that it does in certain cases) there is also a reason that I have cheaper, beater gear, that I take out of the house with me, or very tiny setups. With that said, I love all my equipment (EXCEPT LE DOGGYSTYLE) for different reasons, and for the different experiences it brings me. I would have severely limited my vaping experience if I only purchased expensive equipment, thinking, "It may vape better." Sometimes it does, and I have different gear for doing different things with, but not always.

The Steampunk nano for instance, still gives my DNA mods a run for their money.

I loved this video! It reminded me of my son at about the same age when he caught his first fish. He reeled the fish onto the concrete boardwalk of the lake and it started to flip flop wildly. This scared the crap out of my son as I guess he expected it to lie still. He dropped the pole and ran off screaming in terror.

I used to have that on video, too, but I think the ex has it. I would love to show it to him now at age 22. Having a video of your son or daughter catching their first fish is priceless.

If i own something expensive i take much more care of it. Like my Provari 2.5 for instance. It's still in the exact same condition it was when i first got it. Still highly polished and shiny stainless steel with not a single scratch on it.
If it was all scratched up, would the flavor of your juice suffer?

No !, but that wasn't my point. It's a well built device and worth looking after. A cheaper device probably wouldn't last as long and i wouldn't care if i dropped it or lost it. I don't use it when i go out for example.
Agreed.....but the whole point of the thread is about being able to get a great vape out of what you already have as opposed to the rationale that you have to spend big money to get a decent vape .

As far as your ProVari goes, don't baby that sucker. I dropped one out of a 5th floor window accidentally. The kayfun suffered fatal injuries but, I swear, the provari seemed to work even better after the fall.

My bicycle is pretty expensive. I use it everyday. In the summer i cycle at least 60 miles daily. In the last four years i've cycled over 20,000 miles and regularly maintain all the parts which wear down, chain (every 2,000 miles), sprockets, chainrings or entire crankset (Basically the whole drive train), brake pads, tryes, tubes.

If i want to continue to cycle i need a well built bicycle, which costs more than the average bike.

A decent vape with a cheap mod isn't going to last.

Provari's were built like a tank. The only way to destroy one is to run it over with a lawn mower.

Good Lord......show me anywhere in any of my posts that says anything about how long something will last or what's better than what.
It's not a very hard thread to follow as long as you're not just looking to argue.
I have some very high end gear....I'm not knocking high end gear, nor is anyone else so far. For the love of all that is Holy, read.

    :p

I will gladly say that you can have a good and satisfying vape on a cheap setup. Some more expensive ones aren't even worth the price difference (some are though) and today you can get good devices at an incredible price.

But please let's not pretend that nobody got ear cancer from listening to that pos garbage toy they try to sell as a guitar.
There's also vapes that are cheap and you cannot in any way get a remotely good vape from, I remember some throw away cigalikes from a few years ago. That guitar shaped thingy is the crappy cigalike you don't want.

Sorry to rant but it really is your fault for putting that sound into my ears :D
