Just as a reminder for people, you do not have to use all three magnets in your button. I have had carpal tunnel syndrome in my hands for years (even had the operation which helped a little but not completely).

I put all three magnets in my button and at first, it was reassuringly stiff to press. But after just a couple of hours, my entire hand was numb and the pain was starting.

So, I removed a magnet and PERFECT!

A soft press is all that's required now and my numbness went away almost immediately.

The only one warning when you're using two magnets, expecially with a rounded button is to always make double sure you've locked your button if you are going to lay the device on its side in case it rolls and activates the button.

Lisa, I had carpel tunnel years ago and I had acupuncture done and it fixed me.
Excellent, I am glad that it worked for you.
I had the full "carpal tunnel release" thingy done - where they actually cut across the carpal tunnel ligament to relieve the tension on the nerves in there. It worked to a point in preventing the worst of the symptoms just from everyday activities, but when extra pressure happens from a repetitive activity, it's still a major problem.
I generally modify my activities when I notice I am doing something that aggravates it - might have to try acupuncture if I can get some funds together for it.

Thanks Stormy. :)

Meanwhile, I love the super-soft press required with the 2 magnets in the button, rather than three.
