Forgot cone, is this bad?

I used my kgo for about half the day when I realized I had forgotten to attach the cone.
Is this bad? Did I do any damage?

AS NGIB said, the cone is for aesthetic purposes only. It provides a clean finished look to a fully assembled PV, but it has no impact on performance what so ever.

Actually, the cone stiffens up the draw a bit and that affects performance.. it also helps to keep the connection a bit cleaner since its not exposed to everything we have in our pockets. But yeah.. its nothing to be conserned over, I havent used a cone on my EGO in months...

Ya, I mainly use the cone to protect the batt's threads and look nicer on my e-power if I'm carrying it. If I'm at home, I don't really bother with it as it's an extra thing to deal with if I want to mess with my carto. It does change the airflow and heat a tad though.

Another something that I heard a while back and have experienced, is the cone makes a nice "drip shield" if you are a dripper. It keeps most of everything from leaking down the battery and onto your hands.

Pesonally, I found it easier to maintain without the cone. When Dripping sometimes the flavor fades but there is still a lot of juice so when you add more it leaks. Without the cone I can see if that is happening. Much better when taking of the cone after a week and having juice all over the place or having juice oozing out from the cone. ymmv
