The webmaster should make a place for donations to skip the troll posts BS. No good troll on the planet would pay more than a dollar to hammer this board. There are far to many other places available to piss people off for free.

I have red these forms for a while here just reading up on this stuff. Don't wan't people ragging on me for asking stupid freeking questions ya know. So I go to drop a c note or so on junk on the classifieds today. Guess what? I cannot even contact anyone on this board until I make a certain number of posts regardless of the content. So here we f-n go. My #1 post. Don't hate me I have to do this again and again regardless of the content. WTF.

I broke my last e-cig I got at 7-11 and was unable to stick weld it back together. Anybody want to see the pics? It does do some weird stuff momentarily when used for an electrode at full amps. It just does not have the staying power I'm looking for at 200 Amps. Any solutions?

That cheap Janty pass thru I had quit working also, at the same time the china battery pos decided to die... Imagine that. Cheap USB cables smell pretty bad as they are burning away and falling off also. I thought there might be some copper left, but nope, nothing just some stinky goo...

It is a good thing thing there is a liquor store with analogs right around the corner. When I am frustrated there is something very soothing about a really good strong Jack & Coke and a nice tasty real Marlboro that just puts all that imatation crap aside and gives me peace. I am trying hard to dig this electric cig crap and it is just not the real deal in some ways. It is like a cheap bottom shelf drink with diet coke, and toking on an empty cigarette filter. I keep hitting it and I just can't get satisfaction at all.

I really like good southern corn mash whiskey like old #7 Jack Daniels. I sometimes wonder what would happen if I fermented tobacco and then tried to distill it into alcohol? It is organic material just like grass clippings and it is possible to make alcohol out of it. But I wonder what the distilled product would be like, and as well the essence of that? I wonder if it would vape good if I added pg or vg and boiled it down to an essence after all the alcohol evaporated off as well? I might try that. Do you guys have any threads about home cooked tobacco juices? (not the stuff poured from a spittoon of course). I'm talking pure cooked down tobacco extract? Anybody tried that? There must be more than a few home chemists here?

you know what i do when i have a stupid question? i search it in the little search box at the top of the forum. 99.9999% of the time, i can get the answer without even asking. :p as a matter of fact, there hasn't been one time when i had to actually ask.

(i'm not saying that your question was stupid. i'm just saying that if you think it's stupid, it could save you any potential embarrassment you might feel)

also, be sure to keep all your connections clean. i learned that the hard way this morning when all the batteries i'd left charging overnight still weren't charged up. i felt pretty silly, cuz i'd already heard that in the very first video i watched. i didn't think everything would gunk up so quick though! you gotta clean your connections all the time, with alcohol on a q-tip. i was literally shocked at how dirty all ours were when i cleaned em off. luckily, i managed to get 2 batteries charged up for my husband before he had to leave for work.

the vape tastes better when they're clean too.

personally, i don't like tobacco flavored juice. i never liked the taste of cigarettes either though. the taste was never the reason why i smoked em. i was just a junkie. (the first 4 or 5 tasted good i suppose. who can even remember after so many years?)

right now, i'm really digging on the pineapple.
yeah.gif

my advice on the flavors? get em extra strong. at the place i've been buying from there is an option for +50% & +100% more flavoring. i went with 50 the first time i ordered. the second time (which hasn't arrived yet) i went with +100% more. it hasn't got here yet, but i already know i'm gonna like it better. if i don't though, i will be sure to let you know.

anyhoo, welcome to the forums. i hope the e-cigs grow on you. :)

Well I missed the stuff I wanted on the classifieds. It's OK though it looks like there is lots more stuff available once I get the ability to post there. I had 2 attys die on me yesterday just out of the blue. They had both been working fine for a while now. I use them both for different flavors. But at least it was not a problem with my V2. I have read there is switch problems on these, but I stuck a new atty on there and it is good to go. At least a have a decent stash of them to last me till I get all this sorted out. My V2 is the only working thing I have here right now and I have to stick with this and see if I can make the switch from analogs. I need to get some more flavors. I'm just not to thrilled with anything I have here. I've been looking around and might order up some samples from here and there. So I'll be looking around the juice forums tonight to see what opinions are being tossed around there lately. I do need to find a decent back up mod though. I don't want to get caught empty handed if this one starts messing up on me.

Is that kind of typing still cool somewhere?

The rules are to keep the rip-off rebrander spammers confined to one section where we can all spot and swat them. It's not to stop trolls. We typically have long chats with trolls. Spammers get kicked.

EDIT - yeah apparently I took him seriously

I got a Riva at Liberty-flights.com for under $30 w/ their 20% off (use IE to see the 20% off on their front page and click it. Then click Riva 510 on the left and check out the Riva Lite bundle). Stick a 510 to 808 adapter on it and you could use V2 cartos on it too.

Interesting post Wingfixer!

Even more interesting is the fact that people took you seriously. Warped!

No further comments since I might be branded as an advocate of eugenics.
Had to look that up, to understand....

Winfixer - seems like bootcamp is now over. :headbang:
Hope that you will get your problem(s) solved - and watch'em Amps!

I may go back and edit my first post since some people think it is funny, and it seems to irritate others But at least one or two got a laugh out of it...

Well I'm rather disappointed that Pure Smokers seems to no longer sell parts or anything for this Prodigy V2 I have here. I have been reading and searching around for info about it. This one I have takes 801 atties and I need to find adaptors for 510 and 901 and I have not been able to figure out the exact part numbers I need.

The next thing I’ve been trying to figure out is if there is a battery combo, or a battery I can put in it with a spacer to make it do 3.7 volts. It currently takes two rcr123a batteries for six volts right now. But in the meantime I’m going to order up a hot box and some LR306 atties since the reviews I’ve seen there is a lot of people really digging them. There must be something to those LR306’s and I want to give them a try.

Your first post was funny but if you think the rules don't work.....go to the bottom of the

Yep I just got here I sure don't wanna piss anybody off that quick, plus this is a helpful board for me so far and need to keep good access to this forum. I am confused about these RCR123A batteries. I just read I can get 3.7 volt versions of these, the ones I have say 3v on the side. If so I could use one of those 3.7v's with a spacer and get 3.7 volts out of this V2 then just use an 801 to 510 adaptor and I could try the LR306 atties everyone is raving about. I need to find a good battery chart if anyone know of one. Sorry for the stupid questions, and I have been looking, I guess not hard enough for answers.

I've found an adapter to go from the 810 connector to a 510 atty and that should work with a LR306 atty. If the recess on the top cap of the V2 gets in the way I'll just chuck it up in the lathe and turn it down until it fits no prob.

That is a nice battery chart, but what I'm having trouble figuring is the dimensions of the batteries. I need a single 3.7v battery with the right size diameter and length to fit inside the V2. With or without spacer. I can't run two 3.7 in series in there or it would double the voltage of course. So just a 3.7 that will fit in the tube with a spacer or no spacer is what I'm trying to figure out. The batteries I have now are all 3.0 volt Tenergy rcr123a's and the Tenergy charger I have will charge 2 or 4 batteries at the same. It is like a universal charger or whatever and will do 3.0 or 3.7 volts batteries and has a list of others on the back it will charge also. I don't care if I have to buy another charger as long as I can find some batteries that will work.

I like this V2 even if pure smoker wants to disown it like a step child. I have dropped it a few times already and it just keep right on acting like nothing happened so I want to fiddle around with it some more. This whole vaping thing is pretty neat and there is a learning curve for sure, so I might as well start messing with the junk I have on hand and see what happens. It never hurts to learn anyway...
