I am on high-speed but a really old laptop. Generally, I prefer using Google Chrome, since IE is obviously unmentionable, and even the latest Firefox version is really slowing down my CPU. And yes, do not load images automatically and you should be fine...

Point me to the rule that says every question has to be PV related?
