1% nicotine = 10mg/mL. :D

Good eye! But unless I am calculating incorrectly that just does not add up. How does one obtain 10mg/ml final mix with just 1% nicotine?

Pure nicotine is 1,000 mg/mL. 1% of 1,000mg/mL is 10mg/mL... regardless of what other ingredients are present. Sometimes one will see it stated as "X% to volume." The "1%" is in reference to its pure state, and not a reference to the actual concentrate used (such a 100mg/mL concentrate, commonly used in DIYing e-liquid).

The "1%" is in reference to its pure state, and not a reference to the actual concentrate used (such a 100mg/mL concentrate, commonly used in DIYing e-liquid).

Gotcha….I couldn’t see past a 100mg/ml limit.

You are far from the first person to think that way. That is why ECF encourages nic discussions to be in terms of "mg/mL" (vs. percentage); precisely to avoid that very same confusion. I wish vendors/mfgs. would do the same.
