So I posted here about a month back just after my first e-cigarette turned up, a 510.
Back then I was waiting for eastmall to deliver my nicotine-containing e-juice before I gave up the analogs. Well, they still haven't delivered and I'm still waiting. The juice has been to Australia and back to eastmall and is now on it's way back to Australia as far as I can tell!
Anyway... I've been casually vaping the 0% stuff all the time and I kept smoking and feeling a bit crappy about it. On Sunday afternoon I had two left in the pack and started to walk to the nearby gas station for another pack. I lit up on the way. As I was walking along I realised:
"This tastes like crap and it's making me feel bad"
So I walked past the gas station, and back to the house. Later I smoked the last one, mostly because it was there. Since then I haven't smoked, so we're on the afternoon of day 4. I've been puffing away at the 510 quite a bit (no nicotine!), I have heart palpitations and I'm hungry quite a lot.
So does withdrawal get worse after this or am I in/over the really hard part now? Because it's not too tough so far, and the 510 is taking away my desire to suck on something and inhale stuff. The heart thing is worrying but according to google not that abnormal and no real cause for concern.
I'm wondering if I need to bother with the nic juice if/when it arrives, if I'm doing OK without....
Anyway, thanks again to the folks on this forum for showing me that there's a potentially easy-ish way to kick the unhealthy aspects of the addiction. And in such lovely fruit flavours! My current favourite is mixing vanilla and blueberry
