The first thing I noticed is that my heart rate is not going up by ten beats per minute upon the first "drag" of the day.

In fact my heart rate is NOT going up at all.

I am going to have to see my doctor and see about getting off of my beta blocker for PVC's as I feel that I may not need them anymore.

My chest feels lighter, I have no wheeze in the morning after the first full day of not smoking analogs.

I am sitting in my bedroom this morning with bedroom door closed and I start to smell bacon...??? My son was cooking bacon and eggs in the kitchen and the smells leaked into my bedroom UNDER the door.
I would NEVER have smelled this before while I smoked analogs. The smell was so strong it felt like I was standing over the frying pan.

I am also noticing how my bedroom now smells of cigarette smoke ( I used to cheat now and then and smoke cigs in bedroom while on the laptop)

My resting HR as I type this is 66 bpm and normally at this time of the night it would be 84 bpm.
That to me is remarkable to say the least.

Congrats! If I swallow a tiny bit of e-liquid, it gives me problems, so I keep a tissue around at all times to spit in. Not lady like, but then a small price to pay to get off of the cigs. I try to remember to blow gently into the mouthpiece before I'm are ready to vape after filling a cartridge or when I pick it up... this can help to move any liquid back down that is in the mouthpiece or on the sides of the cartridge.

My sense of taste and smell returning was amazing to me. I found I rarely use salt anymore! Smokers walking by? Gahhhhhh! Stinky. Scary that was me about 6 months ago!

I just moved into a new place last week, which helped trigger my decision (two months ago) to quit smoking. I'm stepping down (at 9 cigs/day currently) with a target of Oct. 7th and I ordered a Red Dragon kit earlier this week. Your comment about the smell makes me really glad I decided 1) to quit and 2) to not smoke in the new house.

Keep up the good work!!
