One easy way to get started is something like the one stop flavors or one stop blends from One Stop DIY. They are simply shake and vape, and quite good. I have used a butterscotch as a simple single flavor mix that worked well, but I ended up with a better butterscotch custard with mixing several flavorings. Check out the DIY subforum in the e liquid section here.

What you might consider is "one shots".....

Do you guys have them?.... couldn't be easier. You can even get one shots of many of the top UK liquids.

In truth, if you can do a single flavor mix (I write sfm on the bottle) you may as well do 2 flavors, it really, really, really helps.

There are huge amounts of sfms on e-liquid recipes, most a dreadful beyond my/your worst fear.

I always recommend that when starting to DIY you make stand alone flavors so you can perfect them. Once you have single flavors the way you want just mix up a tank with a little of this and a drop or two of that to find flavors that work well together before getting into 5-6 flavors and trying to see where you went wrong. Worked for me and still does as a matter of fact. Good Luck!

I have some TFA Caramel and TFA French Vanilla from Myfreedomsmokes that I like as single flavors. I switch between them in the same tank without cleaning the tank so they would probably be good mixed together too.

Of course, tastes vary. These were given to me by a guy from work that didn't like either one.

In my happy place
Flavorswest has a really good lemon meringue that I shake and vape .75ml flavor per 10 ml base is a good starting point. any more it tastes like lemon floor polish.

Flavorwest has a good hazelnut that is a shake and wait a few days before vape about 1 ml flavor per 10 ml base. mix in a vanilla custard for a really buttery nutty taste. This is what got my off smokes.

flavorwest has a good peppermint again about 1:10 and vape while mixing if you want. :) a drop or two of menthol adds a cooling affect that is nice.

Hello all,
I'm new to this and was wondering what is the concensus on single ingredient flavors? I do not care for tobacco or fruit flavor juices. I was hoping that someone might be able to give me four flavors that I can use to start with in a shake and Vape.
Welcome and glad you joined. Good question, I had in mind this very same question when I first started DIY'g.
The old saw "YMMV = your mileage may vary" is so true in this case. I have found that most single flavors can be greatly improved upon by adding accents and secondaries where needed. For me, I found there is no such thing as a single/standalone flavor that does it all.
